Chapter 10Many people approach my table once Aidan disappears inside to use the phone. They all want answers to the same questions. They all want to know what happened to him and if the car from which Aidan was dumped belongs to Eddy the Red. Some people hold genuine fears, but most just want the gossip. I explain to them that I don't have the answers they seek but assure them that I will investigate. Then I make a hasty retreat to the safety of my office.
