Chapter 16It is late morning and I've circulated the missing person report. There's no real evidence that anything is wrong but I've a nagging worry about Jean-Luc's disappearance that won't go away. I'm delighted when the phone rings and it's Patricia. She has the afternoon off and as it's a beautiful day she suggests I go AWOL from the office and meet her for a picnic lunch by the river. My colleague can handle things here, and he can phone my mobile if I'm needed, so I agree and arrange the meeting time and place.
