Married to the Devil Itself
Chapter 1
Crazy's Perspective:
My alarm clock roused me at 6:30 AM. I promptly made my way to the bathroom, and after twenty minutes, I was ready for the day. I selected my favorite pair of jeans, complemented them with an orange crop top, donned my sneakers, and styled my hair into a ponytail. There was no stress at all, particularly since my father is financially comfortable. I checked w******p to catch up on messages and noticed notifications from Daniel and Katrina.
(Katrina is my cousin, and Daniel is a friend.)
Daniel: Where are you headed?
Me: Off to that uninspiring school.
Daniel: I am simply in search of attractive girls.
Me: You are perpetually silly.
Daniel: I must go now.
Following that, I proceeded downstairs. As for Katrina, I did not respond because she merely sent a "hey," which seemed somewhat trivial. I then exited the house, got into my car, and drove to school.
Shivaay's Perspective:
I was already prepared for work. Before departing, I had breakfast in my room. As I descended the stairs, I observed that the guards and maids greeted me with a hint of nervousness, a reaction to which I have become accustomed.
"Hold on, son," my father called out. I paused, as he was the individual I was attempting to avoid.
"When are we, son?" my father inquired.
"Good morning," I responded, fully aware that it was not the answer he sought.
"You are correct," he stated sternly. "I am referring to the wife you married during your childhood."
"Oh, so that is why you stopped me," I replied.
"And why you avoid dining at the table. For goodness' sake, you are a grown man," he continued.
(Ah, he has begun again.)
"I understand that your wife requires your presence, especially with her unscrupulous uncle who insisted that I marry his daughter to you," he said.
"So, old man, should I approach her and say, 'Hello, whatever your name is, you are my wife, let us return home'? For goodness' sake, I am already involved with someone," I replied coolly.
"Do not tell me it is Veronica and those other women you see," he retorted.
"Very well, I am already running late. Please provide me with her name or profile, and I will have someone guide her until tonight when I will go to retrieve her," I said.
(I left the house, but not without taking her picture.)
Twenty minutes later, I arrived at my office and contacted Spider.
To be continued...
