After Daniel and Carl visited Lydia’s cubicle, she showed them the discovery motion filed by both mining companies on her computer screen.
“What?! This is ridiculous,” Daniel said while staring at the screen. “Lydia, can you print out and email a copy of the motion to everyone on the legal team for the royalty case?”
“Sure,” she said as she immediately emailed John, Marissa, Robin, Carl, and Daniel as well. Lydia queued the document to print so there would be five copies waiting on the laser printer. She also saved a copy on the firm’s computer network in the pleading folder for the royalty case. She then docketed the fourteen-day response time on everyone’s calendar.
