Phoenix, Arizona Later That Week John knocked on Marissa’s office door while looking down the hall in both directions. He didn’t want anyone seeing him enter her office even though it was not out of the ordinary. The two attorneys worked on cases together for over six years and were accustomed to meeting in each other’s office. But today, John felt differently about speaking with Marissa.
