Chapter Thirty Two:I refuse to let it shine and I listen to the little demon voice instead
"Please. Give me my phone back, Ryan." I can barely get the words out because I am just exhausted from the arguing with Vance.
"I am sorry for being rude earlier." he suddenly blurts out and I furrow my brows before looking up at him.
"I wish I could explain it to you but I feel like it is best I keep it away from you." he continues and I feel my heart skipping beats. He is not even looking at me, he is looking straight ahead and his apology sounds so genuine.
I shouldn't stay though, I always fall into some trap.
"please. Let me go before it is too late for me." I plead with him and he finally looks down at me.
"I will drive you back, I owe you that at least." he offers and I sigh.
