PLOT
Exposition
Princess Aina is born into the Northern Kingdom, where law and tradition deny women the right to rule.
Her birth is met with disappointment by her father, King Messah, who wanted a son to inherit his throne.
From infancy, Aina is treated as a political asset rather than a child. She is betrothed at birth to Julius, the prince of the Western Kingdom, to strengthen alliances between two powerful regions.
While her father rules with fear and authority, Aina grows up watching her mother survive quietly, learning early that silence is how women endure but not how they live.
Inciting incident
On Aina's eighteenth birthday, Lord Messah decided that Aina had come of age and it was time for her to serve her purpose of being born.
Aina was so happy that her father attended her 18th birthday, because this was her first birthday that her father has attended, her excitement was so much not knowing what was installed for her.
At the end of the event , Aina is summoned to the royal court and officially presented as Julius’s future bride.
It was made clear that the purpose of the marriage is for just alliance. Julius has no interest in Aina or marriage, he just agreed to the marriage just to please his father but he made it clear that no romantic relationship should be expected from them.
Aina's world came crashing because she has always dreamt of marriage founded on love and trust.
The moment forces Aina to confront a truth she can no longer ignore, if she remains silent, her life will end exactly where it began; in obedience.
This marks the first time she openly questions her role and begins to resist, even if quietly.
Rising Action
Aina begins to challenge traditions in quite dangerous ways.
She educated herself in governance, military strategy, and diplomacy areas forbidden to women.
Her growing intelligence and composure draw Julius’s attention, who starts to observe her from afar. Slowly he begins to get close to her and ask for her advice in every of his decisions. Emotions started setting in but they didn't notice because all their aim was to come together to achieve a common goal.
Aina did not only earn her husband's trust but she also earned the trust within the Western court.
Tensions begin to rise between the two kingdoms. King Messah senses a threat in his daughter’s growing influence and tightens his control, while Aina helps Lord Arthur push for dominance over both lands.
Climax
A political crisis erupts when the Northern and Western kingdoms stand on the brink of war due to their fathers’ ambitions. uShe gave lords Arthur and his royal house every information and strategy needed to bring her father down and take over his kingdom. When power slipped out of the hands of Lord Messah; the Western was in control of all the powers.
Aina moves with another strategy with the help of Julius they took over power and dominance in both regions.
Aina steps forward publicly, exposing the consequences of the greed of both kings .
In defying her father before the court, she claims authority not granted by law but earned through wisdom and courage.
Julius stands with her during this period of political intrigue, unspoken alliances, and emotional conflict.
Choosing partnership and love over blind inheritance.
Denouement
Everything changed. Power quietly slipped away from the old ways and landed with Aina and Julius.
The kingdom no longer felt stiff and heavy, people started breathing easier.
Rules were different now fairer and kinder than
past rules .
King Arthur and Messah fought it at first, they grumbled, argued and they tried to hold on. But the new laws Aina and Julius wrote were clear and strong.
In the end, the two old men had no choice but to sign.
Their shoulders dropped, their voices grew small. They had not just lost the battle but there voices also. They finally saw what they had refused to see for so long.
Aina wasn’t just a daughter to trade. Women weren’t tools or prizes. They have emotions and dreams just as men do, the truth hit them hard, like cold water on a sleeping face. It hurts but the have no choice .
Aina, the girl they once called “rejected,” now walked through the halls with her head high. People looked at her with respect, not pity. When she spoke, rooms listened. When she decided something, it happened. The kingdom bent toward her will, gentle but sure.
And Julius… Julius stayed right beside her, not because he had to anymore but because he wanted to.
Their marriage had started like a cold contract, two names on paper and nothing more.
Now it feels warm and real, when they look at each other, there were softness in their eyes, small smiles no one else could see , hands that found each other without thinking.
The old pain were fading, old rules were crumbling into dust.
Peace didn’t just arrive with trumpets,It arrived quietly in shared glances, lighter footsteps, in the way Aina sometimes laughed out loud now, free and bright.
She and Julius weren’t fixing the world overnight. But th
ey were building something better, day by day.
And for the first time, it felt like the future belonged to them.
