*CHAPTER FOUR*

***Roman POV:

I don’t regret rejecting her.. She is fat and was never meant to be ruled by my side. I need a strong woman who my pack can rely on. I don’t need no weakling who hasn’t shifted. 

Shut the f**k up human. Don’t talk about my mate like that. One day, you will regret it and when that day comes, don’t be crying like little b***h. ..says my wolf Nightmare 

I was laughing at my wolf’s words. Haha.. I will never regret it. I don’t even remember her name. I look at my side and just admired at my beautiful girlfriend, Remi Richardson. I touch my baby’s red hair. She look so beautiful. Why can’t the moon goddess make her my mate? 

While I was admiring my girlfriend, I felt my heart being ripped. It hurts. I hear a girl’s voice saying something but I can’t really know what she is saying. I hear my wolf whimpered. 

Nightmare, what’s going on?

Nu..nu.. nothing. Nothing is wrong. 

(-Roman’s Wolf- Nightmare POV:) 

I hear my mate accepting the rejection. I block her voice so Roman wouldn’t hear it. He doesn’t deserve to hear her sweet voice. She is mine. She may rejected Roman but she didn’t reject me. She will always be my mate. Not some stupid red head. I tried to break through the mind link to Reign, secretly. 

“Reign.. Reign.. it’s me Nightmare.. Please if you can hear me, say something..”

“Hello.. who.. who .. who is this?”

“Reign, it me, Nightmare. I am Roman’s wolf.”

“How how did you get through the mind link when I already accepted the rejection?”

“Even though you were rejected by Roman, you are still our mate anyways. You were meant to be with us. The moon goddess made you my mate for a reason. Reign, I will never reject you. You and you only can be my mate. Roman is just too blind to see your worth, my love.”

“...My Nightmare..” 

“Im always going to be yours baby. And you will always be mine. One day, Roman will regret it. Stupid human.” 

“ I will always love you Nightmare. I just wish Roman never rejected me.”

“ I know, baby. But don’t worry. He will come back to you and beg for your forgiveness. Mates are meant to be together. And also I already know your identity..”

“ You mean..”

“ Yes. I already know that you are the queen of the The Guardians. When I first saw you and heard you said your last name, I immediately knew your identity. But don’t worry, I will keep your identity a secret, my love. One day we will meet face to face since I am the future king of the Werewolf Kingdom. And I will help you protect all the kingdoms, darling.”

“Thank You Nightmare. I love you always, my love.”

“And I love you, Reign. Please be safe.. and don’t talk or touch other mens. You only belong to me..”

I could hear my mate laughing.. her laughter is like birds chirping in heaven. 

“I would never dreamed of it, my love.”

“I will secretly mind link you from time to time, darling. Gotta go, before Roman finds out. Bye baby”

“Bye, my love.” 

Our mind link ended and I felt like I was on cloud nine. I hear Roman trying to reach for me and I just blocked it. I never want to talk to that human not until my mate is back in my arms. 

BACK TO - ***Roman’s POV: 

I have been calling my wolf’s name for the millionth time and he never responded. I can feel him but he will never answer me. Stupid mutt.

The whole entire day I have been feeling like there is a hole in my heart. I look at my brothers and they just look miserable. 

Roman: what’s wrongs with you two? 

Richard and Lucas looked at each other and then looked down at the floor.

Lucas: I rejected my mate. 

Richard: I also rejected my mate. At first, I wanted to enjoy my life as player but now every single girl I kiss, I keep thinking about my mate. I couldn’t stop thinking about her grey eyes. They were the most beautiful pair of eyes I have ever seen. So earlier this morning, I decided to go to school and search for her and take back my rejection. But I didn’t see her for the whole entire day. I looked for her in all her classes but she was never there. I try to hack into the school system to see where my mate lives, but there was nothing. It’s like she never existed. 

Lucas: I was also looking for my mate but she was never there at school either. 

Richard: What’s your mate’s name?

Lucas: Velora Black Knight..

Richard: Did you say “Black Knight”? That’s funny. My mate’s name is Valkyrie Black Knight. 

Lucas: Oh that’s my mate’s twin sister but they also have an older sister name Reign Black Knight. 

Roman: MATEE!! 

Lucas and Richard looked at each other and then look at me. They were shocked. I calmed myself down and get back control over my mind and body. 

Lucas: Roman, is Reign your mate?

Roman: She will never be my mate. Remi is my mate.

Richard: Then why did you yell mate and growled when we said her name? She is your true mate and the true queen of the Werewolf Kingdom. 

Lucas: You rejected her, didn’t you?

Roman: Yes. Yes I did and I’m glad that I did. She was never strong enough to rule by my side. She was always weak. Remi was never weak. She is the strongest warrior in all kingdoms. Remi will be way better Luna and queen than Reign will ever be. 

Richard: One day, you will regret it. Just like me and Lucas. We made a terrible mistake and I wish I have my mate right here with me but I don’t know where she is at. I don’t know if she is safe or who is she with or where she lives. I DON’T KNOW.. IM GOING CRAZY WITHOUT HER. I REGRET REJECTING HER. SHE WAS THE ONLY LIGHT IN MY LIFE AND I DESTROYED IT, ALL BECAUSE OF MY STUPID PLAYBOY REPUTATION. 

I saw both of my brothers falling on their knees, crying for their mates. I think about it for awhile. Will I also regret it too?
