The Rejected Sisters

*CHAPTER THREE*

***Reign POV:

“Reign!! Reign!!”

“Huh..” 

“We’re here in Fiji..” 

I opened my eyes and sit up from my seat and look out the window and saw that we have arrived. We grabbed our belongings and made our way out. We picked up our luggage and went outside. By the time we made our way out, we saw our cars parked in the front. I told my sisters to meet me at the pier. In a few minutes, we finally arrived to the pier and made my way towards the private boat. I made sure that they shipped our cars to our private island and have everything prepared for me and my sisters. After about 30 minutes, we finally made it our private island. We got our bags and luggage out the boat and made our way towards our car. We drove to our new home. When we arrived to our house, it was just beautiful. It wasn’t even a house, it was a mansion actually. I got out the car and made our way towards the front door. Before I could touch the door knob, someone opened up the door. And before I could do anything, I was tackled by an old aged woman. 

“My granddaughters are finally here..” Did she say granddaughter? I took a step back and look at the old age coupled. 

“I’m sorry for being rude, but who are you?” I asked.

“Oh sorry. Where are my manners? I’m Cassie Black Knight, your grandmother and this old man right here next to me, is your grandfather, Shadow Black Knight.” I looked towards my grandfather and he look so much like father. I dropped my luggage and went to hug them both. Remembering mom and dad brings so many tears and emotions. I couldn’t handle it. I thought I was all alone with no other family other than my sisters. Sometimes it can be too overwhelmed. Me and my sisters, all hugged our grandparents. Later we walked into the house together and sat in the living room. 

“How have you guys been? How are your parents?” my grandpa said.. I guess they don’t know. I looked up into their eyes and finally decided to tell them.

“Years ago, we had a rogue attack in our pack and, mom and dad went to go fight the rogue. After a few hours, they were consider dead. I told them to take me to go see their bodies because I couldn’t believe it. When they took me to go see them, I inspect their bodies and it wasn’t them. I could tell that it wasn’t them because they didn’t have the matching tattoos, behind their left ears neither did mom have the birth mark on the back of her shoulder. And that’s where I knew that they must have disappeared mysteriously or someone must have taken them captive.” After I told them everything, grandma was crying while grandpa was trying to comfort her. 

“How old are you, Reign?” my grandpa asked.

“I’m 18 years old, grandpa.”

“When you’re mad, do you ever roared like a lion instead of howling like a wolf?”

“Now that you mentioned it, when I saw my mate with another female, I started getting mad and roared. I always wonder why do I always roar.”

“Wait. You found your mate?”

“Yes but..uh I was rejected.”

“WHAT!!!” My grandpa roared with such anger. 

“We were all rejected by our mates.” mumbled Velora. We all looked down to the floor. 

“Those mutts. HOW DARE THEY REJECTED MY GRANDDAUGHTERS!! Does those mutts know who they are rejecting? I will make them pay. What are their names?” Roared my grandfather. 

“Dear, calm down.” my grandma said.

“It’s okay, Papa. I don’t want no more problems or anything to do with them. I accepted the rejection and cut all ties with him. Their names are Roman, Richard, and Lucas Greyson.”

“Wait.. as in the crown prince Roman Greyson?? The Greyson brothers?” said my grandmother. Me and my sisters nod our heads. Next thing you know, my grandparents dropped to the floor and bow be fore us. I immediately ran to them and picked them up.

“What are you doing, grandma and grandpa?”

“You are our future queen, Reign. We must bow to our queen.”

“Please grandpa and grandma. I don’t ever want to see you bow before me, okay?” They both nod in unison. Later we got settle in our new rooms and made our way downstairs for dinner. We talked about the memories they had with dad and mom. I felt complete for the first time but with a hole in my heart. Oh how I wish to have a mate but sadly he rejected me for that stupid redhead. 

“Reign, are you okay, dear?” I looked to my grandma and smiled. 

“Yes, grandma. I’m okay.”

“Reign, has your father ever given you a book with a symbol on it?” I looked at grandpa. 

“Well he didn’t give it to me but I did found it in the closet. It’s in my bag right now.” 

“Did you opened it yet?”

“No I haven’t, grandpa. Why are you so curious grandpa? Is there something wrong with it, grandpa?” I asked worriedly.

“There is something I need to discuss with you, Valkyrie and Velora. It’s about the history of The Guardians.” 

“The Guardians? Dad always tells us stories about The Guardians. They are the one that protects all kingdoms from hunters and rogues.” said Velora

“But one day they all went extinct or disappeared all of a sudden. They were never to be seen.”said  Valkyrie

“Not all of them.” said Grandpa.

“What do you mean not all of them?” I asked

“We’ll discuss that after dinner.” 

After dinner, we cleaned up and made our way towards Grandpa’s office.

Grandpa: Okay girls. Take a seat. We got a lot to talk about. Reign, did you bring that book that was in your parent’s closet?

Reign: Yup it’s right here Papa. Here. 

I placed the book in front of my grandfather. While I placed in font of him, he grabbed a needle and prick his index finger, making blood come out and land on the book, causing it to glow and open up. 

Valkyrie: Grandpa, what kind of book is that?

Grandpa: This book has been passed down in our family for generations. This book is only opened to those who produced the true blood of The Black Knight family. In this book, it will teach you magical spells that only The Black Knight family can cast. These spells are way powerful than the witches. Our family are not werewolves. We are lions with wings. We are called The Guardians. We are chosen by the Moon Goddess to keep all kingdoms protected by the rogues and hunters. We only shift when we are 20 years old, but since you guys are all rejected, it might make the process go faster. 

Reign: Oh.. no wonder I didn’t shift when I turn 16 years old. I always thought that I was weird or something weird was happening with me. 

Velora: And sometimes I always wonder why do I always roar when I get angry instead of growling. But damn. A lion. I can’t wait...

Grandpa: For the next few years, I’m going to train all three of you, especially you, Reign.

Reign: me?

Grandpa: yes, you. You are the oldest. I expect great things from you Reign. You are my eldest granddaughter. You will also be taking the throne as our queen of The Guardians and also you are already the true queen of The Wolf Kingdom. You and your sisters are meant for great things in life. 

I looked at my sisters and held onto their hands. 

Valkyrie: Don’t worry sister. We will be by your side, always. We will help you take care of the kingdoms with you. 

Velora: You will never be alone big sis. You have me and Valkyrie by your side at all times. We will help you be the strong and beautiful queen that you are. We love you, Reign.

Reign: And I love you both too my sisters.
