"Yves, wait. Stop!" Aiden begged as he grabbed him by the wrist. Yves stopped in his tracks but his back remained facing Aiden as he refused to look at him. Aiden released a deep sigh. He can't say it did't hurt him, because it did. It still does. "Please, I just want to talk," he said as his grip on Yves' wrist tightened.
"There's nothing more to talk about, Aiden. We already made it clear between us, right? That day," Yves replied, still standing there without looking at him as he tried to pull his hand away.
But Aiden refused to let him go. "Is that it? After all the things we've been through? After all the time we spent together? Does all of that mean nothing to you?" Aiden asked with desperation. "I've waited 7 years for this, Yves. Seven years.
Yves bit his lower lip as he dipped his head down when he felt his eyes sting the moment he heard Aiden's voice break.
Aiden released a deep sigh as he tried to calm himself. He shouldn't break down yet. He needs his answers. He pulled him closer and made him turn around. He softly held his hands as he tried to catch his eyes. "So tell me honestly, Yves," he started as they locked eyes, "Do I really mean nothing to you, now?"
