I get startled awake by the door slamming open and Alpha Alaric comes storming in. “What are you doing? Why are you just sitting there and not practicing with your makeup and hair? Are you planning on making this pack look bad?” “No Alpha. I didn’t realize I had fallen asleep. I am so sorry. I will get up right now.” “You had better. Get practicing!” He storms back out and two Omegas walk in with my lunch cart smirking at me. “Looks like wolfless got in trouble again.” They laugh and walk out. I mean it still bugs me how they treat me, but I only have to deal with this for one more day, then I am free. I mean kinda free. It depends on what the Lycan king decides to do with me. I mean he could keep me as his breeder, throw me in the cells for lying about who I am, because I am sure he can figure out I am not an alpha’s daughter, or he could make me a rogue, which would be the best-case scenario. Then I can find somewhere i will be welcome. Lunch is good today: chicken caesar salad, macaroni salad, blt’s, and some chips. Nothing major but still more than I normally would have gotten. I head into the bathroom after wheeling the cart into the hallway and wash my face to remove the makeup. I have to practice, or the alpha is going to be mad at me. I sit down at the vanity and look at everything laid out. I should probably start packing up all my stuff tonight too, so that I am ready to leave when they come to pick me up tomorrow… I go back through everything I learned from Scarlett and start practicing with my makeup. My eyes don’t come out as perfect as when she did it, but it is passable, so I call it good and head out to start packing everything. I figure I will leave the shower stuff and my makeup until tomorrow so that I can use it and probably should pick out an outfit to wear as well. But what should I pick? Something casual? Or should I wear one of the nice dresses? I think I will go with something in between, nothing too casual but nothing too fancy. I don’t want to go looking weird or something. Like I think I am better than everyone else. I mean I am just going to be a breeder after all. I go into the closet and pull down my new luggage they bought me and start folding clothes and packing them into the biggest one first. Then I pack all the shoes and accessories into the smaller one. I pull out the shower bag and take it into the bathroom, so I have it ready to pack everything up tomorrow after I use it in the morning. I look around to make sure I'm not forgetting anything and notice the book I've been reading. I mean, I doubt they would notice it was gone, so maybe I will put it in my purse so I can read it in the car on the way there. Pretty sure it is like a six-hour drive anyway, so I am going to want something to do… Yeah, they won't notice it’s gone. Barely anyone actually reads in this pack anymore, especially not the Alpha family, so they won't even notice. I sat back in my comfy chair by the window to read until dinner. I think the nurse is supposed to be here soon to take care of my back again, so I don't want to fall asleep and miss her. I’ll just wait here until she shows up. I wonder if I will have another dream where I will meet Selene again…

Alpha Alaric

Finally, I am going to be able to get rid of that stain on this pack. I can not have some weak little girl here. I have no idea why we agreed to take her in. My mate thought she might be some special wolf or something, and it turns out she was nothing but some wolfless freak. They should all just be killed, in my opinion. They make the rest of the pack look weak. Any time one of my pack shows that they might be wolfless, I get rid of them. But no. My mate wouldn’t let me. She has such a bleeding heart. She would be furious if she ever found out I was killing any of the wolfless pack members. I know it is against wolf law, but I will not have my pack weak. They are a plague in the pack, using valuable resources that would benefit others more. So I dispose of them. They are no use to me anyway. Once she is gone, then she should be the last wolfless person in this pack. My pack is going to be better than all the rest. And once I get them all trained more, then I will start my quest to take over the other packs nearby and gain a bigger following so that I can finally take down the last of the lycans. I will be king. This will all be mine. That wolfless little freak is going to make his pack so much weaker in the long run. I know he lets wolfless freaks into his pack so they have to be weak. This is going to be my chance to be the strongest and best pack. I will have everything I want and all the money in the kingdom will be at my disposal and then, once I am in charge, I will finally cleanse the wolf world of all the weak freaks we have. We will only have pure wolves from strong bloodlines. The rest will either be slaves or dead. Soon I can move forward with my plans. Very soon.
