Katryna’s Dream

I am in a beautiful lush green meadow. Flowers are blooming everywhere, and the smell is intoxicating. There are wolves howling in the distance, but I don't feel afraid of them. It feels like home here. I feel so relaxed and comfortable. I walk for a while through the endless fields of red and yellow flowers until I come across a crystal blue lake in the shade of willow trees. As I walk closer, I notice a little bench under the willow, so I go and sit just enjoying the cool breeze and the peace. ‘Hello my child, I have been waiting for you.’ I jump and scream looking around for who said that and see a beautiful woman with long black hair and silver eyes like me. ‘Who are you?’ ‘My name is Selene, but most just call me..’ ‘Moon Goddess?!’ I quickly bow down and bare my neck to her. This is the Moon Goddess! Mother of all wolves! What is she doing here? ‘You don’t need to bow to me my child, we are related haha.’ I look up so fast I fear my neck might break from the movement. ‘What did you say?’ ‘You are a descendant of my bloodline Katryna. You are related closely to me. I know you have had a very rough life, and I am deeply sorry for all you have had to go through. I wish I could have stepped in, but sometimes you must go through many trials in life to get to where you need to be. Things are going to start getting much better for you very soon. You must trust me on this. You will be meeting your mate and things will not go as they normally would, but do not lose hope. I promise you will have a happily ever after.’ I am too stunned to speak, so I just nod my head at her, staring with wide eyes. I notice a silver and black wolf walking towards us and I quickly move to the bench. ‘Do not be afraid, this is your wolf. I know you believe you are wolf less but she has been trapped for a long time. I will be helping just a touch so that you two can finally communicate, but I do not have the ability to release her from her prison. That is something that you must do on your own. Her name is Amara and she is very special. She will become the best friend you have always wanted. You will still present as wolf less for the time just to keep you safe. Be strong and be aware not all are who they claim to be. Be wary of people that will want you for your power. You are a very special wolf Katryna. Whether you believe it or not, you will see in time.’ She smiles at me then kisses my forehead before vanishing. The silver and black wolf walks closer to me and sits. ‘Hello. Amara she said? You are very beautiful. I was always told I am wolf less. I don’t know how I can free you, but I will do everything I can to do it.’ ‘Thank you Katryna, I have tried for so long to reach you. I am sorry I was not there to help you as you were growing up and being treated so badly. I am here now, and I am not going anywhere. I am so happy to be able to talk to you now. I will speak with you when you awaken.’ I smiled and hugged her for the first time. I have a wolf. I am no longer wolf less. This is definitely a dream I never want to wake up from…

End of Dream

I wake up with a start and look around. I am back in my bed, and it is still dark outside. That was one of the craziest dreams I have ever had. Did I really talk to the Moon Goddess? Am I really one of her descendants? Do I have a wolf? No. I can’t. This was just a wonderful dream. ‘It was a dream, Katryna, but you do have a wolf, and you are a descendant of the Moon Goddess.’ I screamed and looked around for who said that. No freaking way. ‘Amara? Is that really you?’ ‘Yes, Katryna. You didn’t imagine me. I am here, and I am here to stay.’ I start crying as the guards rush into my room to see what happened. ‘Do not let them know about me. I feel it is not safe for them to know. The Alpha is dangerous, and it would be very bad.’ “What happened wolf less? Why did you scream?” I started shaking, and I stuttered, “I-i-I’m s-s-sorry. I had a nightmare…” They scoff at me and walk away muttering about how worthless I am and why they can’t be doing something more important than watching the wolf less freak. Eh oh well, I know they all hate me here, but now I have my wolf! I am no longer a freak! As soon as I get out of this pack I can be free if the king doesn’t want me. This is amazing! I smiled to myself and lay back down to go back to sleep. This is the happiest I have ever felt.
