‘Good morning starshine! Just saying hello so you remember I am not a figment of your imagination!’ I groan and laugh softly, ‘Good morning Amara, I remember. I wonder how I am supposed to set you free though? Any ideas?’ ‘Nope. But at least we can talk now, and I can help with your healing, since they are using that medicine to help with the silver scars. I can heal those and make it look like the medicine was what did it, so they won't know you have your wolf now.’ Smiling, I get up and head into the bathroom to do my morning routine. I go to the bathroom and wash my face before applying my new creams. Should I take another shower…. Yes, I think I will. I mean who knows when I will get this privilege again. I start the shower and go pick out a comfy set of clothing, some more sweats and a tee today, not like I need to impress anyone. I'm not going anywhere. I go back into the bathroom and undress, then step under into hot water. Selene said I would meet my mate soon, but things would not go as they normally would. I wonder what she meant by that. I guess I will find out soon. Maybe he is in the Lycan king's pack and I will be able to go with him instead of being a breeder. That would be amazing, but if things aren’t going to go as they normally do, then maybe he rejects me… I need to not think about this and just enjoy my free time right now. I finish showering quickly because it is almost breakfast, and I am excited to see what I am having today. Stepping out of the shower, I dry off and get into my sweats and tee before brushing and braiding my hair. There is a knock on the door and I hurry over to answer it. It is the nurse from the other day. “Hello Katryna, I am here to put the cream on your back again. I hope you slept well?” “Oh, yes, I did, thank you. Come in.” She walks in, and I go to sit on the couch for her. I take off my tee and turn so she can put the cream on my back. “My, my, my, the cream is definitely doing its job well. Your scars are much lighter today. That is good news. Have you looked at them yet?” I shake my head no, “I do not like looking at them ma’am. I prefer to not see how badly my body looks from everything that has happened…” She nods in understanding and goes quiet, focusing on making sure she covers every scar with the miracle cream. “Well I am finished putting on the cream. Your breakfast should be here soon. I will be back before dinner to put on the second dose of cream for the day and tomorrow before breakfast. You won't see me after that because you will be leaving around lunch.” I nod, “Thank you for being so nice to me. You don’t have to be since you know nothing about me. But thank you.” She smiles and pats my head, then heads out. I don’t know her that well, but I will miss her. She was very nice to me. I grab my book and sit on the chair by the window to read until breakfast comes. After about an hour, there is another knock on my door before it opened and breakfast was brought in. And Alpha Alaric follows right behind, I jump out of my chair and bare my neck in submission. Amara growls in my head. “Look at you all cozy and reading. I didn’t know slaves could read.” He sneers at me and stalks towards me. I shrink back and quickly kneel down so that I don't pose a threat. “I-I-I’m s-s-sorry Alpha….” He growls and looks me up and down, “Why are you not dressed more appropriately? You have all these other clothes to wear and here you are in some sweats and a tee. And why do you have no makeup on?” “Sorry, Alpha… I will go change and put on some makeup… I don’t know how to do it though, so I didn't want to use it until I had practiced a little. I plan on practicing today.” “I will send Scarlett in to teach you how an Alpha’s daughter does their makeup so that you don’t make the pack look bad in front of the king.” “Yes Alpha.” I continue to look at the floor and not at him. “Now go change and eat. Scarlett will be in after breakfast, so be ready.” “Yes, Alpha.” I wait for him to leave before I move from my position."What a jerk. I wish I could just tear him to shreds, but I can't until I am set free. And when that happens, this whole pack will wish they had treated you better.’ ‘Amara, we can’t take on an Alpha. There is no way.’ ‘You, Katryna, are stronger than you think. You have to have faith.’ I sigh and head into the closet to look for something more appropriate. I come out in some jeans, a flowy blouse and some boots. I think it looks nice, but we will see what Scarlett has to say about it. This is going to be terrible…

Breakfast is delicious this morning. Eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, toast, and fried potatoes. Delicious. I finished breakfast and set the cart outside the door. I headed to the bathroom to get all the makeup and things I would need to set up for when Scarlett gets here. Me and her have never really crossed paths much, so she hasn’t been too mean to me. She never joined in on the physical torture, but she would call me names a lot. I am sure she is not happy about having to teach me makeup today, she would probably rather be out with her friends shopping. This is probably going to be a nightmare…
