Mira POV

The training made my muscles cursed me. I never experienced training before because my fake mom and dad, being the beta, were able to make excuses for me not to be trained together with the other pup. This made me the weakest wolf in the pack and the center of bullying from the kids in school. I'm sure that our alpha also knows this, and that is why they gave me the same treatment of care and disappointment.

My training with my mother, the moon goddess, tested my endurance and strength. I never imagine that I can run this fast! She also taught me how to use the four elements, controlling the fire, water, land, and air. I feel awesome after being able to make a fireball on my left palm while having a small fountain appear on my other palm. I never felt hungry and thirsty during the training, and mind you, we didn't stop. It is like I am here in her realm for weeks, but it's like I just got here yesterday because the energy is still there.

My most favorite part of the training is when she taught me how to levitate myself and any object that I want to. It was really hard at first because I had to really focus on myself, making my mind and emotions as one. I nearly give up, but when I pushed my last stick, I saw myself floating in the air! Believe me, because I was overwhelmed, I did all her training while floating.! Cool!

"Mira, get yourself down here, you cutie-patu-tie!" I pouted first before I came down. "this is the end of your training with me. After this, I want you to learn how to fight, which your mate will teach you how." She told me while resting after our training.

"What? B-but how can I know-I mean how can we- "I panicked when I heard the word "mate." What if he didn’t like me?

She held my cheeks and rubbed it a little as if telling me not to worry.

"You just have to wake up from your 2 days sleep because he is waiting for you for so long. But before that, someone wants to meet you in person."

After saying that, a white wolf came towards us. She is beautiful! Her fur is as white as snow, and her eyes are as dark blue as the night. The wolf walked towards me and licked my face.

"That is my hello to you, Mira dear" the wolf said in my head. Therese!

"Oh my goddess! Therese! you are so beautiful!" that's all I first said before I realized how she messed my face. "Eww should not be the licking welcome! Gross!" I playfully complained.

"Oh don't give me that tone. You should have known before what I looked like if only you tried to check my reflection on the water or on the mirror or something." Therese said while attacking me with more licking and me dodging her tongue. We giggled while playing and teasing till I decided to give up because I know she will not do it.

"ok ,ok, I'm sorry, I give up. I just thought that I don't want to see your face as broken as mine because of the t****re they gave to me. You are my source of strength and hope, and I don't want to see you with bruises and in pain because of me." I hugged Therese tighter to show to her my sincerity and gratitude for all the things she did for me. I can't help not to cry after I remember what we suffered.

"Don't cry, my dear. Your mother and I will not let you suffer those pain anymore." She brushed her face on my neck, making me feel warm and secured.

"enough of the drama. My baby, it's time for you to get the reward I told you before." Therese moved away from me a little. "Try to think of your body, especially your eyes. Slowly, open your eyes and recognize the light. Goodbye for now, my dear child."

I followed her instruction, and after she mentioned the goodbye part, I was already consumed by the dark. I saw a light that slowly came towards me. I tried to feel my body, and I can feel warm. Focusing on my eyes, slowly I moved my eyeballs, and soon as it rolled, I started to open it. The white ceiling is the first one I saw. Moving my view down a little, is a big glass window where I can see the clear view of the forest. The entire room is dominated by grey color, but it has a white combination, making it look clean and manly. The beeping of the machine beside me brought me back to mind my body. A lot of cords are connected to me from the machine. I slowly moved my hand, reaching out to the cords on my chest. After removing it, using my other hand's help, I pushed myself up for a seat. I was about to remove my dextrose when a sweet and intoxicating smell reached my nose.

"Mate! That's our mate!" Therese suddenly popped up in my mind, jumping excitedly.

"Therese calm down. You are giving me a headache!" So this is the reward I'm getting? a smile creeps out of my mouth. "Yes dear, enjoy," I heard the moon goddess said in our link. My smile turned into a chuckle. 'Stop teasing Mom!"

The sudden open of the door brought my attention back from the link. The door hit the wall as if the impact created a c***k on it. Then came in the gorgeous man I ever saw. He has an angelic face, black hair styled neatly, and a body that can make you drool because of the visible muscles with his body hugging blue shirt. I bet my life; he has eight packs and a happy line down to..

I felt my cheeks heat a bit, and I'm sure it turned a shade of red. I caught her eyes looking at me, noticing the emotion of fright to shock, then turned into relief and love. Getting overwhelmed by how his eyes affect my feelings and being conscious of my "woke-up like this" look, I avoided his eyes.

"You scared the hell out of me! I thought I lost you when I heard the flat line beep in my device," he said. He is already by my side in a second, and I found myself wrapped in his arms. The tingling sensation erupted as soon as our body made contact. It gave me warmth as if my body found my other half. I can hear Therese purr like a cat making my giggle a bit.

“Seriously Therese?” I told her. I felt her eyes rolled.

"Hey, that's not funny! I just went to my office a while ago because there is a report I need to approve, then…f**k that machine alarm! That's my first time to get scared!"

His hug got tighter to the point that I can feel his heartbeat. He really is upset, I can say. But his hug, this feels heaven!

As much as I love the feeling, I can't let my guard fall even if he is my mate. My mother just told me that I needed to be trained by him but didn't mention that I could divulge to him who I am. I need to confirm it first.

I pushed him a bit to inform him that I need space. He hesitated at first to let go of me under his arms but instead, he just held my hand.

"I-uhh- we haven't introduced ourselves yet. I think it's –uhm -not right to be touchy yet."

I'm sure my face is as red as an apple. It's true, right?! A normal couple, if that we are, always starts with getting to know each other, before hugging and making body contact, etc. Dont get me wrong, I like it, and I'm drooling, but yeah, I have to control myself self har har!

He is sooo cute when he is blushing! "Oh, sorry about that. Suppose you find this too fast. Anyway, are you feeling well now? Do you need anything? What happened to you in the woods?" He asked while worry is evident on her face.

I want to touch the crease in his forehead to remove the creases and say, don't worry, but I controlled myself. I regret touchy drama!

"Go do it! Touch our mate!" Therese said, but I blocked her.

"I'm fine. Can I have some water?" Not long enough, he handed me the glass water, and I emptied it in a second. Thanking him, I answered his other question.

"I actually don't know how I got here because I let my wolf be in control while I take a nap. I came from Red star pack, and I run-away because of my adoptive parents," I can feel his pity eyes on me. Yeah, they are not my birth parents.

"Please don't inform them that I am here. I don't want to go back and experience their cruelty again!" I pleaded to him. With all the dark aura he is showing right now, I know he is mad. Is it toward me or on what I said? Goddess, help me!
