CHAPTER 001
The ancient door opened with a creak. Like I was asleep, I froze and lay motionless on my side. Despite my heart hammering in my ears, I remained motionless. I didn't even take a deep breath. Perhaps he would leave if I said nothing. However, I knew he was inside when the door gently closed. The sound of heavy footsteps on the wooden floor reached my ears. Each step made my skin itch. Despite being completely awake, I remained motionless. As he approached the bed, his shadow extended across the room. Don't, please. Never again. The belt clicked into place. I was filled with nausea. When Mom wasn't home, he always changed. His voice, his hands, and his eyes all turned into something twisted. His demeanour left me feeling unclean. The way he had been staring at me since I turned seventeen was something I had long anticipated. I was now nearly eighteen. I had reached the age where I could protect myself. Tonight, I hoped to stay safe by hiding under the blanket. Do not panic. Simply take a breath. Keep him from smelling fear. However, I nearly puked when he pressed his button. Why now? Why this evening? He had waited until Mom left for the store and watched me all day. I was aware. Throughout the evening, I had made an effort to remain near her. In an attempt to vanish, I had gone to bed early. However, that was never successful. Being out of sight did not imply being out of mind. His mother adored him. It was more difficult because of that. She failed to notice it. She was unable to. He was her partner. Furthermore, she lacked the strength to oppose an Alpha like him because she was an omega. However, I was an Alpha. In other words, I was strong. And I had to find it now. I removed the zip. No. No. Don't stop. Avoid freezing. He muttered, "I know you're awake." My entire body tensed. I opened my eyes. He was there, towering over me. He was the man who was supposed to protect me. He was the man I once held in the highest regard. He was my mother's companion. My stepfather. This monster took over when? As he leaned closer, I tried to protect myself by keeping my arms crossed over my chest. "Leave your mouth open." I gave a headshake. That repulsive breath struck my face as he leaned closer. It made my skin crawl. He knew I was stuck, so he laughed softly. I felt like screaming. However, my tongue felt like sandpaper and my mouth was dry. Downstairs, the front door opened. My heart pounded with hope. He also heard it. One hand covered my mouth. "Erich?" Mom yelled. "Are you here?" The television clicked on. He remained motionless. He growled, "She won't save you." "I could force her to observe." She would merely remain motionless. I take it; you are aware of that? My heart fell. since he was correct. The scariest part was that. He released me. I only had one chance. Only one. I gave a hard kick out. I placed my foot precisely where it was required. With a grunt, he retreated. "MOM, PLEASE HELP!" I let out my loudest scream. He was quick when he hit the floor. Too quickly. Before I could flee, he slammed me back into the mattress. The door swung open. "Erich? What are you doing? Her voice broke. When Mom saw us, her expression changed. Her soul seemed to have been ripped apart. Our gazes met. Mine begged. Hers did promise. Using his Alpha command, he roared, "I said get out!" She stumbled back. She was powerless to resist. I wanted to scream again, but I couldn't find my voice. With eyes full of sick desire, he growled, "You walk around like some tease." skirts. shorts. Do you believe you've matured? You will learn the true meaning of maturity. His knees caught my legs as he pinned my wrists. I was immobile. I was having trouble breathing. I simply shook my head repeatedly. He snarled, "OPEN UP!" Then—Crack! He sagged. I held a frying pan and blinked up at Mom. "Liesl!" Are you hurt?" she exclaimed. I pushed him away from me and hurried out of bed. To be sure, she struck him once more. She grabbed my hand and said, "He won't stay out long." Put on your clothes. Only take what is important. I could hardly move my legs. I picked up a few shirts, jeans, and a hoodie. I tossed in what money I could find. Mom used rope to tie his hands and feet. It would slow him down, but it wouldn't hold him in place forever. I packed everything that would fit in my bag. Memories had to remain. We convened in her room once we had finished. She rolled the window open. She said, "We must leave now." I gave a nod. We stepped onto the narrow ledge outside the window. We were in the garden after just one drop. We leapt. This is where I used to play. back when I was little. while everything was still going well. Or I believed they were. She groaned slightly from the impact as she fell behind me. I took hold of her hand. "Are you alright?" She gave a nod. We took off running. Quick. Don't turn around. However, I did. Only once. Despite fences and trees hiding the house, I could still feel its presence. The sound of the monster we left inside still echoes. Then it arrived. A roar. Not human. Not secure. We continued to run. The introduction of a new proper noun was not successful. The search yielded no results. Would you like me to stick with the same format and specifications for Chapter 2?
