“Miss Lavigne, the papers from Mr. Martin were finalized yesterday and are ready to be signed today,” my secretary informed me as she handed me my coffee.
“Thank you, Louise. I’ll make a mental note to sign those papers as soon as I get to my office,” I replied, taking the steaming cup of coffee from her with a grateful smile.
As I made my way through the bustling office, the employees greeted me warmly. I returned their greetings with a nod, acknowledging their presence as I walked by.
They graciously parted to allow me and my secretary to pass, and before long, we found ourselves at the elevator, ready to ascend to the top floor.
As the elevator doors opened, the employees inside exited one by one, each offering a respectful greeting before I stepped in.
