Amethyst 'Elise' POV
"Miss Lavigne, here's your new phone," my secretary said, handing me a brand-new smartphone as we disembarked at California's airport.
"Thank you," I replied as we made our way out of the airport.
Outside, a car was waiting for our arrival.
The driver opened the door for us while another man efficiently took our bags and placed them in the trunk.
Once I settled into my seat, I retrieved a piece of paper from my bag.
I dialed the phone numbers listed on the page, saving them to my new contacts and naming them accordingly.
After finishing that task, I began dialing the first number on my contacts list.
It rang a few times before someone finally answered.
"Hello? This is Adrian Wright speaking. Who is this?" he asked.
A smile crept onto my face.
"Ady," I replie
