I woke to my phone going off beep, beep, beep. it was so annoying. I grabbed my cell and turned off my alarm. it was 6 am. already. Ugh, why the heck didn't I turn this off. grrr. I wanted to sleep in. I felt so comfortable and tired one more hour, I told myself. I roll over onto my stomach to get comfortable and just lay there with my eyes closed, but I can't fall back to sleep. ugh, I grabbed my cell and looked at Jake's name, and started to text him.

hey, I made it safely. I'm surprised you guys didn't text me at all yesterday.

I put my phone down and know I wouldn't get a response since it was early Saturday morning. They probably we out drinking lastnight those two loved to go out and have fun, and I missed them already. autumn and I have been friends since we were five, and Jake was the shy kid who didn't have many friends so autumn and I couldn't help ourselves latching on to him. we three have been stuck together like glue through all the ups and downs and anything that got thrown at us. wow, not seeing them every weekend is doing to suck but hey, we are only a phone call away. I just hope our friendship doesn't change with the distance

I became restless, and I decided to get up and started to get ready for the day. did my normal daily routine, just minus a few things. I looked in the mirror, and my hair was wild from sleep. My hair is light brown with a natural high light very long to the middle of my back. I consider my average. I have a small nose full, mouth gray , and I have a small chest with a big butt flat stomach. I would say my best feature is my eyes they are different from my parents. mom has hazel eyes, and dad had the darkest brown almost looks black. I am just about finished getting ready when my cell goes off

"Hey lill, glade to hear you got there safe and sound! as for me and Autumn, we'll it was a disaster last night.

OH no, what happened?

Autumn had one too many and fell she busted her lip, and I believe she broke her wrist from the fall. the owner was really nice though he took her to hospital and dropped her home

Jake, you let her get in a car with a stranger? how could you know if something happened?

stop Lilly, nothing was going to happen. The guy was super nice and actually worried about her.

yeah, worried about a lawsuit!

plus, I think Autumn was fascinated with, he I mean, if I was into men, I would totally go for him he was good-looking.

that's even more the reason to have gone with them. have you spoken to her?

yeah, I spoke to her.she is fine. I'll head over there in a few hours to check on her.

the house is nice, my aunt is super sweet into candles, there are candles almost everywhere I look.

"There's nothing wrong with candles, Lilly. they make a house smell delicious depending on the sent."

"Lilly, I got to hit the gym. I'll call you tonight with an update."

I can't believe that less than twenty-four hours autumn managed to fall brake her wrist and bust her lip ope. I'll call her later myself to have a girl chat. I get ready to head out of the room. I noticed the house smells delicious of eggs, bacon, and fresh coffee. The smell leads me right to the kitchen.

Good morning, Lilly, my aunt says while holding a mug up to her mouth. Good Morning auntie, where is mom? oh, she is still sleeping she needs her rest. I gave her calming tea last night to help her rest.

I nodded my head in agreement, I walked over to the counter and poured myself a cup of coffee with some cream and sugar, I sat down across from my aunt. so tell me Lilly about yourself? what would you like to know? my aunt just looked at me and smiled. You aren't good at starting conversations? no, no, it's just that I don't know where to start.

ah, I see you aren't the conversation starter type that is fine, dear. I'll teach you how to. what do you like to do for fun, lilly? anything really going out with friends dancing playing pool darts. my aunt nodded her head as she listened. do you have a boyfriend back where you used to live? no, I haven't met. That has caught my eye, to be honest.

my aunt smiled and nodded her head. aunt Maria, why do you live all the way out here alone?

my aunt smiled, I love this house. It holds so many of our family's secret. I could never part with it. when I married your uncle, he wanted to move out of this little town to a bigger city, and I explained to him why I could just sell or make it a summer home. he so we built our life here an unfortunately your uncle passed a few years ago from a accident at work. my aunt got up and grabbed a picture out of the draw next to the telephone hanging on the wall. here, this is your uncle William and I two days before he passed. she handed me the phone. My aunt and uncle look amazing with a big smile on their face. my aunt was tucked away under my uncels arm. they looked so happy and in love.

I handed the picture back to my aunt, who just placed it back in the draw. she seemed to be someplace else dazed, looking at the draw like her mind went some place else. she cleared her throat and began talking like if she didn't just pause for a few seconds. so Lilly, what kind of job will you be looking for? anything at the moment, to be honest, I was thinking of going into town and acquiring around and seeing who is hiring.

that sounds like a plan. You can also look in our local penny serve section. Most of the little shops here i town and in Duskwood falls put ads out when they are in need of help.
