Chapter 6

The last thing I remember is having an argument with Scott. It's the craziest thing, but I don't remember what the fight was about. I'm not sure what happened but I feel like I'm floating. Everything goes dark. Wait, what's happening? As panic starts to set in, small lights start to appear around me. Slowly beautiful colors start dancing around me. And I appear in a meadow full of different colors of flowers. Am I dead? Is this how my life ends? I sat down in the meadow slowly roaming my hands over the flowers near by. I can't be dead. You hear about it all the time of near death experiences, their lives flash before their eyes. Just like in movies. My life didn't flash before my eyes. And if I was dead, where is my brother?

Think Ally, try and remember. What happened? I close my eyes and take a few steading breaths, trying to focus, trying to remember.... Coffee.... I was drinking coffee. I was with Scott drinking coffee. Then I started to argue with Scott. But what about? I don't remeber. Think Ally..... I'm getting so tired. What's wrong with me? My eyes started to shut slowly. No!!! Stay awake. I have to remember. Please just remember. It's no use. My body is drained of all its energy.

I go to lay down in the field of flowers. Tears start to pool up in my eyes. Slowly rolling down my cheeks. I'm alone. No one is here with me. I'm just utterly alone. My heart brakes. Stay awake Ally. You can't let go now. Just... Stay.... Awake.... But it's no use. Exhaustion is taking over. I'm sorry.... I'm so sorry..... Forgive me..... That's the last thought I have as darkness over takes me. Silence. No dreams, no sounds. Just silence.

"You better fight.'........ Wait, I know that voice.

"Please Ally Fight. You can't leave me."...... It's Sadie. But why can't I see her? I called out to her, but even to my own ears, I don't hear anything. I'm here Sadie. I hear you.

"Please, please come back." Sadie pleads and I can picture her with tears flowing down her cheeks. I try to reach out to her, but everything fades to black once again.

"Hey Princess, I'm so sorry."..... Is that Scott? I think it is. Why is he sorry? What happen?

"I tried to stop you. I wasn't fast enough.".... What are you talking about? Please tell me what happened to me? Why can't anyone hear me? I can practically feel him holding my hand as a picture of his face comes to mind.

"I just wanted to protect you but instead you are here because of me. I'm so sorry Princess. Please fight." I'm so tired Scott, I'm not sure I can fight any more. I know he can't hear me but I'm still saying it.

I picture my parents standing next to me.

"We're here honey. Dad and I are right here."...... Mom? Where is here? How did you get here so fast?

"You need to fight sweetheart."..... Dad, I'm trying. I just don't how.

"Please honey, we can't lose you too." I'm sorry mom. I'm so sorry.

They are all saying the same things. Fight..... Fight. I can't. I'm just so tired.......... Darkness............... Silence................

Blackness.

Without warning, I was floating above my body. Oh god, this is it. I'm dying. I see doctors and nurses running around. The doctors barking orders, nurses pushing my parents, Alex, Sadie, and Scott out of the door. I start to cry. They look so scared. I tried to scream out for them. But they can't hear me. I look at their faces and wish they could hear me tell them I love them one last time. Looking over, I see the nurses bringing in a machine. The doctor grabs two paddle-looking things and brings them to my chest. "CLEAR" he yells as everyone takes a step back. It does nothing. He repeats this a second time. Still nothing. Everything is starting to get fuzzy. I hear it a third time. I feel so weird. A fourth time. Everything goes dark.....

I don't hurt. I'm not sad. I feel........ At peace. This is such a weird and great feeling all at once. Wait! What is that? I feel a tugging on my body. Like someone is pulling on me. It's strong. A few more tugs. Now I feel numb. What the hell? No I want to feel that again. What is.
