Chapter 17When Jo looked back on that early autumn, it consisted of constant shifts amongst their close circle. However, as September drew on, his and Daniel’s circumstances seemed depressingly unchanged. Jo vowed not to chafe at that, at least openly, as they attempted to liaise around the tailor shop’s opening hours, extended to accommodate gentlemen who wanted to look their best for all the autumn gatherings.
