Chapter 17

It was a beautiful day and Anika was able to walk and move properly. Shivaay was happy seeing fine. They both went downstairs for breakfast when a shrill voice broke their spell, they moved towards the living room and saw Tia Kapoor, Shivaay's ex girlfriend and a good friend but a really cunning women. She ran towards Shivaay and hugged him tightly.

Tia: I missed you Shivaay baby!

Shivaay : hi Tia, how are you? Please don't call me baby, it's look so awkward. ( eyeing Anika );

Tia suddenly fainted and Tia's secretry called the doctor and Tia was taken to guest room and everyone was standing outside while the doctorrent was checking Tia. Doctor came outside and declared Tia to be pregnant. Rudra led doctor towards the mansion's exit.

Tia: what happened everyone?

Shivaay : Tia doctor said you are pregnant but you aren't even married. Who is this child's father?

Tia: you!

Everyone: what!

Shivaay: what rubbish are you saying?

Tia: have you forgetten our night on our farmhouse?

Shivaay : I did party with friends then I passed out.

Tia: I have proofs.

She showed her intimate photos with shivaay to the family and they were shocked seeing their shivaay this with anothe women than his wife. Grandma was guilty, she don't know how to face Anika. Shivaay looked towards his wife.

Shivaay p.o.v.

As I looked towards Anika I saw her looking towards me. Her eyes accusing me of betrayal. Her eyes were filled with tears but she is my strong Anika, she masked her expressions within seconds and I forced to question myself that this girl has learnt the art of hiding her feelings very well. Why does these things have to happen with me? Never in my life I have asked something for myself, I have always wanted my family's happiness and oberoi' empire success. I never believed in love but Anika made me fall for her, she attracted me from the first day I saw her. I want her only for myself but destiny is again against my wish.

Anika p.o.v.

I hate you Shivaay, I thought you fell for me but you are in love with someone else, now I won't live with you, after the end of contract I'm moving back to my house forever.

Everyone was standing perplexed when Anika went away and Tia also went away but warning shivaay to marry her within a week or else she will leak these pictures in media and Oberoi's reputation will be at stake. Shivaay was going to Anika when Tej's voice stopped him.

Tej: what are you even doing with your life Shivaay?

Janvi: would you like to tell us what is happening? You married Anika but Tia is pregnant with your child. Do you understand you are destroying two girls life?

Tej: I never expected such careless behaviour from you Shivaay, how could you be so reckless?

Shivaay : please stop would you all let me explain, I have never been in physical relationship with Tia, we have dated but I never went this far with a girl. I'm married to Anika and i'm loyal to her.

Rudra : Bro do you remember what happened that night?

Shivaay : I do, that day you all fixed my alliance with Anika but I didn't came because I want to Tia's farmhouse because my all friends were coming and we were mee ting after such a long time so we drank then I passed out and the next mornine Tia told me I was over drunk so slept in guest room because it was risky in that state to drive and ge home.

Om: you were drunk shivaay! That's why you don't remember.

Shivaay : I was drunk om but I would never forget such important stuff. So you all don't have faith on me and trust Tia more than me. That is great!

Gauri: shivaay bhai we have seen that you were very close to Tia so we assumed that it's possible whatever she is saying.

Grandma: Shivaay it's a big thing and why would Tia lie? It's her respect also at stake.

Shivaay left to his room while anika was leaving for her grandma's house. When granny stops her.

Grandma : I'm sorry Anika for everything which happened today. Anika can I request you one thing please? ( anika nods) anika stay her atleast till when everything is sorted.

Anika: I can stay alone. I'm used of taking care of myself.

Grandma: please anika stay, I will get guest room ready for you because I know you won't like to stay with shivaay.

Anika : ok I will stay only for your sake.

Grandma : thanks anika.

Anika was going towards guest room when she realized that she left her phone in shivaay' s room so she unwillingly went to collect it.

The room was dark and the door was open so she walked in but then she was about to leave before even taking her phone.

"Anika" called shivaay. She was completely shocked as how did he even know that she was in the room when she didn't even see him or switched on the lights.

Shivaay : please don't leave me! I have sometjing to say, something to explain to you please give me a chance! I know I don't deserve this chance, I know I have only disappointed you but please I beg you once just listen to me.

Anika : say mr. Oberoi! ( saying so she switched on light and saw him sitting on the bed with disheveled hair, his sleeves folded, shirt tucked out and staring on floor.

Anika : mr. Oberoi! ( he looked up at him with a look that broke anika 's heart, his eyes were red and puffy like he had been crying and he looked tired and defeated, he looked like a child who was lost long ago, her heart pained to see her love like that, she was angry on him but sing him scared she forgot all her anger and pain.) Shivaay what happened ? ( he just hugged her like she was his lifeline but she hugged him back because she can't let him shatter.)

Shivaay : ( he sat on ground in front of Anika and held her hands softly) Don'tgive up on me please. I need you by my side. I know I'm very bad and you deserve better much better but I need you.

Anika: what happened that you appear so broken and sad? This isn't such a matter that can break the great wall of Shivaay Singh Oberoi. Then why are you behaving like this Mr. Oberoi?

Shivaay : Anika I beg you please don't call me Mr. Oberoi. It feels like a slap across my face each time. You want to punish me so hit me but please stop behaving unaffected by my presence.

Anika: Shivaay, fine tell me why are you so broken?

Shivaay : my family isn't believing me, you are going away from me and i'm feeling so lonely please trust me I never gave myself to any women because this was only my wife's rights.

Anika : we have made a contract and in the end we have to separate right.

Shivaay : no.

Shivaay went to cupboard and took those contact papers and threw them in bin. And anika was shocked, he hugged Anika and whispered in her ears" I'm sorry anika, i'm really sorry!".

Anika : ok I believe you.

Shivaay : thank you Love, you don't know how much this trust of yours mean to me Anika.

Anika : you have always fought for othere now fight for yourself.

Shivaay : with you by my side anika I will win this fight.

Anika was about to leave when shivaay pulled her towards himself and slammed his lips on Anika and started suckling he rips softly while she was tugging his hairs but This time they were showing their real emotions rather than being fake. After few minutes they broke the kiss and anika kept her head on shivaay 's shoulder and hugged him and he also reciprocated.

Shivaay : thank you anika( he kissed her forehead) she smiled and now was sure that shivaay was all hers.
