This Is Me

Here we go guys! The prologue! 3rd person's POV Home. A place where you feel safe, and secure. Its the only place where you live with your closest friends. Where you learn, and grow. Your favorite place to be. At least it was for Avery. Avery Winston is a 16 year old sophomore, who has only a few friends in this cruel planet we call home. Some of those friends are Jenna Winston (her mother), Noah Winston (her father), and Blake Winston (her brother). Life for Avery can be amazing, but horrible at the same time, but she always has her family to back her up, to be her fans, to be her everything. Avery never had many friends in grade school, but it really wasn't any different in high school. With out Blake, she wouldn't have any friends, anywhere. Blake is a football player, who is quite popular. All of her friends are because of Blake. Amazing people, really. Blake is her savior and lifeline. He is her brother, the best person a girl could ever have, other than a husband. Blake Winston is a 17 year old junior, who is quite well known in his High school. But he doesn't let his popularity go to his head, and he still makes time for Avery. Avery has been there for him, since they first met. He has loved her like a brother would towards his sister, and they have been best friends for 16 years. He is a beach blonde, with blue eyes, and tanned skin. Everyone loves Blake, but some judge him, because he has Avery for a sister. Now Avery is, well....... sort of a nerd, as fellow students would say. But even with her quirks and flaws, she has people who adore her, with every ounce in their bodies. Blake and Avery are inseparable sometimes. Truly. Her whole family are great people really. Amazing. Avery loves her life, as she knows it at least. But her parents know something she doesn't. They want to tell her, they really do, but they can't. They want Avery to be able to live her life to the fullest, without worrying about the things she doesn't know. But they know, deep down, that she will find out their deep dark secret. And that's what scares them. _____________________________
