Rising Shadow

Jessica's mother (on phone) "Be home by 8 pm" Jessica in an desperate tone says "Give me a little more time I'll be home by 9 pm" Nicole (Jessica's mother) in an irritated tone says "Just do as you are told I don't want to hear any non scene " Jessica sighing says in a defeated tone "ok" before the line was cut. In the cafe while Noah was looking at Jessica who had her head in her hand asked in a calm tone "What happened now". c*****g her head as she does when irritated she without answering Noah's question rather asked "Where are your keys" 'Be careful' was what Noah wanted to say but ultimately ended up saying "be safe" as he very well knew where she was headed to. J(Jessica's nickname) feels alive as soon as she sat on blackbird roaring on the streets till she reached her destination. The cheers and hoots making her alive and making her feel complete were heard when she reached one of the deathliest valley in town where she usually races to feel good. Making sharp cuts and over taking few missing some edges by that much she makes victory in her name as usual but was going to be late if she didn't rode the bike back home, then being greeted by sweet or not so sweet words thrown her way by her parents. Finally deciding to give Noah a call she dials his number and ask's him to be by the exit of the valley ASAP to which she knew he was already there as always if he wasn't participating. Taking him with her she allowed him to drive the bike while taking the back seat because she very well knew that he was better than her. Reaching her locality she thanked him and ran home. She knew there waiting for her would be her ferocious mother and a not so happy father but she was greeted with some Guest instead and she very well knew what she had to do so without any noise she made her way to the room or rather the quaters for the servants. But unfortunately the Guest  with piercing grey eyes say her and with that alerted everybody making her the attention for awhile. The Guest feeling a sense of familiarity asked "who's she" All the while J keeps her head hung low. Mr. Collins feeling angry on her says "Shes just a nobody son don't bother yourself with her' But the Guest feeling unsatisfied asked ''Can a nobody enter your house like that" J smiling within herself becomes happy seeing the family in such a scenario. Meanwhile the head security or rather the bodyguard steps into the hall with some important documents in hand. Ryan (the security gaurd ) while looking at J speaks to Mr. Collins "Sir the documents you asked for" Mr.  Collins forming a plan in his head says to Ryan "Give me the documents and wait" while looking at the Guest he says "No son its his daughter thats why she is allowed not every smut is allowed in here" shifting his gaze to Ryan he says "Take your daughter doesn't she knows when and where to be at what time" J rolling her eyes leaves the room knowing very well what was coming next if she didn't leave any soon. Ryan excuses himself and reaches to her and in a calm tone asked whether she was ok. J smilingly replies "These word don't matter a lot to me anyway, more than those people you are my family so why not become my father indeed, now come I want to show you something". Before J could say any more she was pulled into the room by an angry Ryan. "Now what did I do" was all J could say before she was shown a video. "What is this I said you to be far away from this place yet you don't listen to me what will ever make you listen to me and care for yourself for atleast once." "Sorry Papa Ryan but this keeps me on toes and my emotions in check I can't stop it but I promise I will be safe always" Trying to bring the situation under control and turning the scene she asked "There's a competition next week can you take a practice challenge with me" Ryan being angry replied "I taught you this so that you can keep your emotions in check and you are doing pretty fine then why do you insist on putting your life in danger" being defeated J asked making her best puppy face she could ever make "I already said I make sure I'm being safe if you don't trust me ask Noah. Now please take a challenge with me, please pretty please" Ryan having no escape on the little girls charm agrees. Switching on the lights on systems they sit facing each other starting the challenge. "You know I taught you a lot but you've already surpassed me to a whole new level so find a good partner to practice another time", "Oh please Papa you know there are still somethings no one can beat you at and I only ask you for this, come on lets start and don't go easy on me" They start and an hour or so passes by but eventually J wins. On the other side the Guest were being ready to leave by that time.  Ryan smiles at this seeing his little girl surpassing him and says "You are already 20 but you still behave as you are 10 you are much more better than your sister why don't you show those people who you are and what you can do" "I don't want to prove any worth to those who already branded me as a mistake but I'll prove myself to you one day and you will be proud of me don't worry Papa I'll be a great daughter to you now come lets eat and go to rest tomorrow would be a long tiring day" With that they both make themselves something to eat fast and the dinner finishes soon wishing good night they both went their own ways.
