Chapter 12

“So is there any new thing that I should know about” I asked Cassie while viewing some files

“Nothing new just some people wanting to collaborate on the new project that we achieved a while ago and there is the monthly meeting that we haven’t had for this month”

“So which company is this, will they be able to handle a project of this scale” I asked

“Oh it is a good company definitely not a small one and it has a good place in the market” She replied

Feeling irritated by this chase game of hers I asked “So will I know the companies name or I will have to play 20 questions with you and set the meeting in an hour or so and inform Noah about it too”

“Mmm actually the thing is that I want you to know about this company but mmm I don’t know how will you react and I also didn’t want to bother you un necessarily they are mm the Sunshine Co and I will inform Sir about the meeting so I’ll be leaving “ saying so she scurried of as if someone has lit fire behind her

So Sir has stated taking action just like Papa has mentioned now it is my turn to play I thought to myself then resumed my work. We will also have to plan on what we are going to do and I also need Noah’s opinion on this.

After sometime Cassie came in knocking the door informing me that it was time for the meeting. Together we left for the meeting room and Noah was also leaving his office just then so we boarded the elevator together. “So any new news that I should know” Noah asked breaking the silence.

“Nothing new just the old thing and let talk about rest of the things after the meeting” I replied

Reaching the floor that consist of different meeting rooms we stepped out and to the meeting room.

This meeting consist of only four people Me, Noah, Arvin and Cassie. All of us have different parts to handle in this meeting we started this thing a little after the company was formed. Cassie reports about the new project or development in our interest zone, Arvin gives  a report about the employees and our business partners having any issue or demands, Noah talks about the profit that we are making monthly or not and the deals we have to make in the next month, My work is to research about the latest trends and requirement of the market. So as we entered the meeting room together we all took our places and started the discussion. Arvin went first with the need, complaints, requirements and other feedbacks of the employees and our partners next went Cassie then Noah and then me. After the meeting is done we have to discuss the actions we have to take. First the employees wanted a holiday or a trip so we decided that if we make a good profit this coming month then we will arrange this trip and Arvin will be in charge of this meet.

Cassie suggested some new project that will be beneficial to us so we have to take them at all cost.

“So as Cassie has already mentioned sunshine wants to collaborate in the new project with us what  is your opinions shall we do it or not” Finally the most important topic that needed a discussion.

“In my opinion yes we should and why not, nobody knows you so that should not be an issue boss can handle the meeting with them also it is just a single collaboration not a long term thing even if it is I suppose there’s no problem as you will be graduating soon so sooner or later they will eventually know lastly I say good business should be considered” Arvin said in a serious mode . See that’s why I like this guy he knows the 3W of life really well oh sorry you might know what it is right so it is basically when, where and what to say. “Yeah I also agree I’ll deal with them for the time being then lets see after all I’m the face of our business” Noah said putting in his thought. “See that was easy wasn’t it now Cassie” I said looking at Cassie just so that she could relax a bit. “Yes it was my mistake that I mixed emotion with the business I’m sorry” Cassie said looking guilty. “Hey you don’t have to be sorry I didn’t mention it so that to make you feel guilty I thought you will be relieved but I was clearly wrong and I understand that you care about me so there is no point in you being guilty secondly if we don’t mix emotions into business then we no less than those who abuse power on the weak ones”. I said as soon as she was done she seemed to have relaxed a bit.

“So shall we warp here or is there anything else that is to be discussed” I asked “We are done I suppose let us go and grab lunch and discuss what is to be our next step” Noah said getting up Arvin and Cassie collected all the materials and we left to discuss further actions also to have lunch. We reached the nearest restaurant as we could eat anything right now and it had dishes which tasted heaven. As we entered  a waitress greeted us asking for the details after providing them all we were guided to a cabin since we are the V.I.P customers of here. They have about 10 cabin kind of things which provides us with privacy and some are available all the time I don’t know about others but at least we get a cabin when we come every time. After ordering our regular menu we went to discuss about our daily life so as to take a break from business and since we are humans too.

Everybody said whatever was going on in their lives like Cassie was being forced to go on blind date to which I think Arvin took it a little too serious like in those werewolf stories when someone meets their mate they think that person is their claiming  them like mine and all. When my turn came I said them what Papa said a few days ago they were supportive and suggested to wait and see what happens next then I should decide what I have to do next because it was an important decision for me also maybe, maybe there is a reason to which things happened this way but whatever it is it can either be too serious or too stupid.
