Chapter 7When Percy had dried his eyes on a capacious handkerchief that Nathan had promptly produced, Daniel reappeared after a tactful interval to conduct them discreetly from the premises. As he ascended into Nathan’s carriage, Percy blinked in growing dusk. He felt dizzy and lightheaded and nearly stumbled down the vehicle’s steps once they reached Nathan’s splendid house off Leicester Square.
