The Forgotten Alpha

It was another cold rainy day in the mountains of Colorado, "just perfect" Emily thought to herself as she got out of bed and got ready for her chores. Well, not really a bed, just a small cot I was given when I was brought to this place. I thought to myself, My name is Emily Walters, I am 17 and just a low-ranking Omega. Well, I became one once my pack was invaded by the Blood Moon pack 10 years ago. No one knows that I was the daughter of the late Alpha Richard of the Trumark Pack and that’s how it will stay until I get to leave here on my 18th birthday which just so happens to be in only a month. When my pack was invaded and my parents were killed I was in the shelter with the rest of the packs women and children and when we were found, they took some of us to be Omegas, actually, less than Omegas, more like slaves. The rest were killed. Right infront of us. Since I was brought to this pack 10 years ago I was put to work. Constantly cleaning and cooking in the pack house. Everyone made sure to spend as much time as they could harassing me while all I could do was allow it to happen. The head members of this pack are ruthless, killing as they want with no remorse or consequences. The alpha, Michael and his Luna Megan, well soon to be Luna once the ceremony is over next week, treat everyone like they are worthless to be in their presence and unfortunately for me, I am constantly the one around them. His Beta, Luke is the worst. He is sinister in his movements and loves punishing me for no reason and on the occasion likes to get way too close to me. The only hope I have is that when I turn 18 in a month and can finally leave, I find my mate and I have to pray that he isn’t here, in this pack, because I don’t know if even my mate could get me to stay here in this living hell. Hopefully the Moon Goddess has something better for my future because I don't know how much more I have left in me to move forward.
