Thea ran. She left behind a past soaked in fear and a man who won't stop hunting her. In the forgotten town of Clayridge, she thought she could finally disappear.

She was wrong.

The Asphalt Den wasn't just a bar. It was Iron Reapers territory. And the man behind the counter tattooed, cold-eyed, built like a weapon—was Knox, their President.

One look. That's all it took.

Now he says she's under his protection. His claim. His rules. But her past isn't done with her. And when it comes roaring into Clayridge, four bikers will show her what family really means. Knox will show her what it means to be his.

But claiming Thea might just start a war.

Chapter 1: Nowhere to Run
The bus didn't stop. It shuddered, groaned, and spat her onto the gravel shoulder like something unwanted. Thea pulled her jacket tighter. Clayridge. Population? Not even on the sign anymore. One gas station. One motel with a flickering neon sign. One bar with heavy doors and no windows. Perfect. Nobody looked for a ghost in a town already dead. She pushed open the bar door. The hinges screamed. Smoke. Leather. Silence. Every head turned. Men with scarred knuckles. Men who belonged to the shadows. Men who knew a stranger when they smelled one. But only one stood. Tattoos crawled up his neck. Ink claimed every inch of skin she could see. His jaw was stone. His eyes—dark, unreadable—locked onto hers and didn't let go. "You're lost," he said. Not a question. A verdict. Thea's heart slammed against her ribs. "I'm just passing through." He stepped closer. The space between them collapsed. She caught leather and gasoline. Something sharper underneath. "Not anymore." His hand landed on the bar beside her. Not touching. But trapping. "This is Iron Reapers territory. Nobody passes through without my say." Her voice came out steadier than she felt. "And you are?" His mouth curved—just barely. Not a smile. A warning. "Knox. I run this town. And right now, sweetheart… you're my business." Thea should've run. Should've backed away and found the door. But somewhere in the distance, a car engine growled. Familiar. Hunting. And the only thing worse than being trapped by a dangerous stranger… Was being found by the man she'd already escaped.
