It just clocked 12:00a.m. Alarm rang.
She reacted weird and mean.
"Samantha, halt this! You wanna kill me? Halt this imitative act of a vampire, " Tess scared.
She was normal again. She sat and took not her eyes off her.
Tess frowned.
"Samantha, are you alright? That scary part of you beat my imagination. Are you fine?"
Tess watched closely.
Samantha stammered.
"You know what? I am just fine. I mean no harm, just felt to act that tragic play, " Samantha told.
"Oh, holy Jesus! I beg you, don't act another time with me. I am fragile to withstand
that, please, " Tess warned with her palm on the chest breathing heavily.
A rapid fire on the TV caught Tess's attention. Samantha folded her legs on the couch and concentrated on the film. A car was shot on the fuel tank. It exploded.
"Oh, my God!" Tess shouted.
"That was bullshit!" Samantha justified.
"You told me something about him. It wasn't clear, " Tess reminded.
"Oh, that? Berg, is a cop and I... Like it, " Samantha opened up.
Tess rubbed her neck and smiled.
"Do you like him?" cunning question.
"Who is the question directed to?" Samantha chose not to answer.
"Do you have a different boyfriend aside that f*****g cop?" Tess voiced.
"Hm. I do but he depends on the alternative, " Samantha revealed.
"Which is?" Tess was curious.
"You want to know everything? Come on, enough. I like a distinctive tale from you, " Samantha requested.
"I like to hear more, " Tess was eager.
Samantha channeled a suspicious glance at her.
"Don't tell me you develop interest for him. I choose not to believe, " Samantha doubted.
"Believe whatever you want. The truth is, I detest cops. Have some sleep. Tomorrow needs your strength, " Tess was ready
for some sleep.
"Funny enough I am not going to work. Whenever I feel like, I will, " Samantha told.
Tess breathe out heavily.
Another minute instigated a count afterward thirty minutes. Samantha had fallen asleep. Her phone needed her attention. It was far from her. Tess increased the volume of the Tv. Samantha turned and faced the wall. The phone rang another time. She adjusted closer to the phone and peeked.
It was Berg.
"Son of a b***h! What does he need my b***h for this late night?" Tess was furious.
She left with the phone to the restroom and locked the door.
"Hello, who is on the phone?" she pretended.
"I am flattered, " he began friendly.
"Don't be because I need to know. If you cannot give me a comprehensive detail of you, forget about proceeding on this conversation, " she was mean.
"Samantha, is this you with this weird act?" he wondered.
"I see you are not ready for this conversation. Get the hell out of the phone, " she attempted to abort the call.
"Wai... Wai... Wait. Don't try that s**t you are about to. It's fine. Calm down, " he calmed her.
"Start talking, " she demanded.
"It's Berg, Samantha's boyfriend. Please, leave the phone in her hand, " he pleaded.
"I know who the son of a b***h is. I am so sorry to tell you that she is not available, " she told.
"Where did she go?" he was worried.
"You want to know?" she cooked a fallacy.
"That is why I asked, " he waited to hear.
"She is going down on a son of a b***h. She is giving it to him the hard way, " she told.
"What the hell! Do you mean this you just said?" he was about diving into conviction.
"All the time. Do you want prove of conviction?" she strategized.
"I want to receive it, " he waited for it.
"Give me some minutes, " she ended the call.
He was traded to sadness and worries. She searched for a porn movie and sent. The lady in the video had no trace of difference from Samantha. He received it. He calmed and watched the video for thirty minutes and was pissed. He called. Tess peeked at Samantha. There was no movement from her. She muted the sound and answered.
"Gratified with the prove?" she verified.
"It's enough conviction, " he broke into tears.
"You have any message for her?" she was about to end the call.
"Uh... Yes. I did but no more, " he was confused of words to offer.
"No, don't deceive me to trust your definite discretion on her. She is not a crazy girl as you imagine. What you saw is just for pleasure. She is after the pay, that's all, " she clarified.
"Whatever you call it, I am not interested. I decide an end to this conversation at this point, thanks. What should I call you?" he hid the pain within.
"I forgot my name this few minutes that passed. Where are you?" she acted friendly.
"Excuse me, are you a joke? Or you want to deck the atmosphere with a joke?" he suspected.
"If you want my name, then I need the address of where you are, " she nailed it.
"I am in the hood. To be precised, along the road in a cop's car, " he described the address.
"That's good to hear, " she was excited.
"You have something else to tell me?" he paused.
"When I come. I need this phone to continue the record. I will meet you in five, " network bridged.
A sudden cough called Samantha awake. She swiftly ended the call and showed up. The cough continued.
"You need water?" Tess was about to.
Samantha nodded.
With swift steps, she rushed to the bedroom and opened the fridge. She poured some water into a glass cup and added three drops of liquid sleeping pills from the syringe. She came to her with the cup. She emptied the cup and pointed at her. Tess returned it and came to her.
"Go to bed to have a comfortable sleep, " Tess hurried her.
"I will be comfortable here, " Samantha refused.
"No, you won't be. Put on your shoes I will help you there, " Tess promised.
Samantha put on her shoes. Tess fulfilled her promise.
Berg opened a bottle and drank quarter of the chocolate vodka he bought to give Samantha.
Samantha fell on the bed and slept. Tess put her arrayed and covered her with blanket. She shut the door and walked out. Berg turned on music and rested his head on the steering. She turned eastward and westward. The door shut behind. She climbed the stairs down. She raised her head ahead and depicted a car. Closer to it, she lashed the glass with a finger. He raised her head and whined down the glass.
"What makes you think it's me you want?" he gave intelligent look.
"I am the last you spoke with on phone, " she identified.
"Uh, get in, " he ordered with a suspicious look.
She held the handle of the door and tried to open. It was locked.
"Hey, cop. The door, " she notified.
He unlocked. She opened and jammed. He drank from the bottle.
"Do you mind?" he pointed at her.
She collected and drank from it.
"I am totally convinced I have fulfilled your demand. It's your turn to fulfill yours. I like to hear. Give a name you are called, " he demanded.
"Call me, Hadley, " she told.
"Are you so close with her?" he verified.
"I hate friends. She's not my friend. I only helped answer the phone, " she was eager to born her intention.
"I see, " he nodded.
"Now that I'm here, what do you need me for?" one of her cunning question.
He drank more and was drunk. She sipped and fed him with more. He sighed.
"I use to think this world has a single face but today disclose her other ugly face. I just can't tell how I feel but I know more
bitterness than I can spell happiness, " he realized.
"So what's your discretion on this?" she adjusted closer.
"I hate ladies and don't want to have anything closely related with them, " he regretted.
She sat on his thighs afterward she drove her gown off her waist. He began blabbing. She put off his belt and dragged down his trousers.
"You know what? Life is so good when it comes to a time like this, " he told.
"Of course, it is. What other life can be best as this?" she rubbed his chest.
He separated his hands. She took him on a slow and steady ride.
It was getting cold. She was done on him.
"Son of a b***h! Thanks for the fun, " she took the next seat.
She peeked cautiously and opened the door. She drew the gown down her knees and returned into the room. The Tv was still on. She turned and shut the door. The cushion was her bed for the remaining hours of the dark.
