UNTIL WE MEET

Chapter Eight

Goldsman went to collect a golden ring he had paid for. An inscription was on it, "men in you never let go." He got home and hid it. Some hours later, he placed a phone call.

"Hey, honey. Haven't I waited enough?" he hate delay.

"Baby, I know you have but give me few minutes to wrap things up. I will be with you soon, please, " she bought few more minutes.

"Alright. Take your time. Just don't want what I prepared to get cold before you are here, "he hurried her.

"Really? A kind of joke?" she pulled him.

"Come see for yourself, " she ended the call.

"Great! I knew this will work. You better come fast!" he was excited.

The interest to lecture the students was not there. She gave assignment and called it a day. A student observed her mood and voluntarily bore her backpack.

"Thanks, Arianna. You did the other day. I don't want you do this again today, " she appreciated.

She gave her the bag.

"Can I have a borrowed time with you?" Arianna sort a way to calm her.

"Sure. I'm not dictating any problem with you. What wrong is living with you?" Samantha paid absolute attention.

"Put me on a blank page. This talk is about you, " Arianna held her.

Samantha held her by the shoulder.

"Arianna, sometimes in life, the smile on the face is not always telling the truth of those that wear the smile. So, I don't know why I'm trapped in this mood. I only know I'm trapped in it, " Samantha refused to admit.

"The interior me feel empty like a land the sun dry its water, " Arianna was affected by her mood.

So touchy, Samantha faked a smile trying to convince her.

"Worry less on me because I will always be fine. Be the good girl I use to know, okay?" Samantha advised.

She nodded.

"It's time to go. I will see you in the next class, " Samantha told.

"Hope to see you brighter, " Arianna wished.

They hugged. She separated from her and walked afar off to her car. Arianna turned her back at her. She turned a look at her and walked away. She hopped into the car and the ride begun.

"What hurdle you from not coming to me on time? The hours I expected you is

passed, " Goldsman gave a glance on the watch.

She parked and walked out straight to the door way. He was about going to take some fresh air beneath a tree. He opened the door and saw her.

"I forgive you even though you screwed up, " he smiled.

She hissed and fell on him. He muted and listened to his heart.

"Tell a different tale of you. Are you alright?" he wanted to begin a romantic talk.

She raised her face and nodded.

"I wanna have some rest. Can I come in?" she was ready.

"Permission granted, " he walked in with her.

She fell on the cushion.

"Bedroom will be fine. I promise to let you rest, " he was about to.

"Don't want to miss out of your sight. I'm fine here, " she refused.

"I want to rush to the supermarket. I won't delay to be with you, " he told.

"Shop for me also, " she included herself in his budget.

"I'm yet to know your likes, " he spoke the challenge.

"What you will buy for yourself and eat or drink, include mine, " she was not willing to go with him.

"I won't forget, " he kissed her forehead.

"Apply caution on the steering, okay?" she advised.

"I take the advice. Bye, " he faced the door.

They waved at each other. The door jammed. Her eyes were shut.

Couple of hours, he came in and looked on her.

She was not fully awake. He waited beside her ready to kiss her lips. She turned her lips facing him unknowingly. He kissed her as she opened her eyes.

"Hm. You never stop, don't you?" She curled her hands on his neck.

"I hate to be loved and not in love. I awaited this moment in my life long enough. Now that I have it, with you, you are enough for me, " he cherished.

She tried to stay up. He assisted her up and sat by her.

"You care for juicy drink?" he waited for her choice.

"I hunger to eat of your meal. Go to the kitchen and fetch me some. Am I too fast?" she put her legs on his.

"Not until you tell me what went wrong with you few hours passed, " he paid attention.

"You are comfortably starving me, right? What if it appears nothing serious?" she tricked.

"Every success and failure are tales to the ears. Someone still care to hear it. So tell

me, what intersected your mood? " he demanded.

"If I lie to you, I stand the chance to be dealt with but not to you. It was my ex-boyfriend, " she disclosed.

"What did he do to you?" he demanded.

"Nothing. We elucidated facts to each other and officially broke up. Don't let that bother you. You have me and I have you, that's what matters now. I ended with him and fully involve with you. What more is worth than that?" she sat on his thighs.

"You worth more, " he curled his hand on her ass with kisses.

"If I never met you and one told me of romantic man, with my experience and believe, I will stamp a doubt to it, " she channeled a sexy look in his eyes.

He smiled.

"I understand that look and know what you mean, " he leaned on her.

"Wait. Before that, serve me out of your meal. Don't be selfish, " she poked him.

"Oh, there you go again. I have a wish before I serve the meal, " he told.

"I will gladly grant it, " she was ready.

"Close your eyes and hear me say open. Can you please do that for me?" he begged.

"Okay. Now that I'm ready, take the move, " she closed her eyes still.

He hastened his steps to the bedroom and held

a box. Few steps to the door, he peeked at her.

"Do I have your permission to open?" she was in haste.

"At your will, my love, "he was standing opposite.

She opened. A box of ring was in his palm.

"What? Are you kidding? Don't do this, not me. I'm sure you don't know what you are doing, " her voice changed.

"If this was a joke, I wouldn't be standing in front of you having the words of my heart in this box. From me to you, this day I decide my longevity and to keep you with me till my time is done, will you?" he opened the box.

"It's my pleasure to see you give me a ring but my heart is unstable, " she told.

"Doubting my love for you?" his face wear a change.

"Not so, my love. My heart is weak because of today, "she read the words on it.

"I know you only in my heart like a child knows the mother's breast alone in hunger. I have kept you in my heart longer than this day, " he knelt.

"I'm not denying you. All I want you to know is that, even if it takes too long to help myself, I won't stay too long to say... yes! I will marry you, " she stretched her finger in excitement.

He inserted the ring. She read the words on it and returned a look on him.

"How long did this inspiration last on you to finally have it on this?" she held him.

"On that day I swear it out on you, " he hugged.

She delayed to kiss. He waited and thought differently. He held her cheeks and put his forehead on hers.

"I expected a gift from you to me. Why do you choose to owe this debt?" he joked.

She sobbed.

"I know. Please, bear with me. Once I'm done healed inside, you will be the first I will attend to, " she stick to her promise.

"If I do that, will you do something for me?" he requested.

"Talk to me on it, " she paid attention.

"You go nowhere tonight. I watch you in my arms till another day, " he insisted.

"I have no objection, " she agreed.

He bore her on his arms into the bedroom.
