CHAPTER SIX
“Well,” Landon said once the check was settled. “What would you like to do now?”
“I’ve heard the sunsets are gorgeous here.”
“They are,” he confirmed. “The one last night as I walked the beach was phenomenal. I think you’d enjoy seeing it.”
“Then let’s do that.” She smiled.
He stood, offering her his hand. She rose and gently accepted, lacing her fingers through his. They walked casually through the lobby and down the back steps out onto the huge patio that flanked the pool. “Through there,” he pointed toward a path that was cut out of the low brick façade surrounding the pool area. “The hotel’s property lines extend all the way to the water, so this whole section is a private beach for their guests.”
