Greyson pov

My dad had mind linked me and told me he had grace and her family in my new office that we need to tell them that we caught the rouge that killed there mother I agreed in school a lot of the higher ranking wolfs would pick on her but I would stop it when I seen it because my mom and dad took her and her brother in after the incident we still don’t know why they came after there mother though but I would find out because even though grace was lower rank than me I always liked her she kind and beautiful and smart as I went up the stairs my would started to tell me that my mate was in this building so I followed the most amazing it smelled of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies when I arrived at my father’s door I was confused but excited when I opened the door and seen her it was grace she was my mate knew right then what I had to do as we both said mate both our fathers said at the same time “ I knew it” but I didn’t pay attention to that all I could do was stair at her I could tell she was anxious as she stood up with her head down and walked up to me but didn’t get close enough to touch me which pained me I wanted her did she not want me I felt my heart starting to rip as I closed the distance between us I put my finger on her chin to raise her head so that she would look at me and the tingles and sparks that went through my body made me whimper I never want this felling to end so the word that I needed to say left my mouth before I could even think “ I alpha Greyson of the red moon pack accept you grace to be my mate and Luna” when I got done I seen a stay tear fall from her face “ you want me” grace said as I pulled her close and hugged her the sparks and tingles was even more prominent but I also felt my heart break she thought I didn’t want her I have to fix this NOW “ can we have some privacy please I asked everyone I saw the look in my dad’s eyes “I know dad we need to tell them but after I find out why she thought I would reject her and fix it” I said through a mind link “ okay son do what you need to” I cut off the mind link then saw her brother and father stand up and walk over to my mate the patted her on her back and left then my father he closed the door behind him.

Grace pov

The second I could think straight I knew that an alpha wouldn’t wand just a normal she-wolf he would reject me I knew it so when I got up and walked up to him I stayed just out of arms reach because I knew if I had felt his touch on my skin it would hurt just that much more but when he closed the distance between us I knew then he really was going to reject me he put his hand under my chin and i heard the words that I didn’t believe I would ever hear “I alpha Greyson of the red moon pack accept you grace to be my mate and Luna” I let a stray tear fall he wants us lia he really wants us but I had to ask “you want me?” as the words came out of my mouth Greyson pulled me close to him hugging me and the sparks and tingles intensified I would never not enjoy his touch I heard him ask for privacy and after a moment everyone left the room and he loosened his grip on me but not enough for us to stop hugging he looked down at me

“why would you think I wouldn’t want you grace you beautiful and smart and brave”

“because im just a normal she wolf im not a betas daughter or a warrior”

“oh baby girl you not just a she wolf your my mate and you know how much my dad drilled into me that status within the pack don’t matter your made is a gift from the moon goddess herself" he said with love in his eyes and that’s when I knew.

“I grace of the red moon pack accept you alpha Greyson to be my alpha and my mate.”

Greyson pov

As soon as she was done saying that she accepts me I couldn’t help myself I had to taste her, so I leaned down and kissed her, and a soft moan left her mouth giving my toung the chance to explore her mouth further she tasted just as good as she smelled she tasted life fresh baked chocolate chip cookies I picked her up and walked over to the couch and placed her in my lap I wrapped one hand around her and the other was on her thigh I was distracted when dad mind linked me “ son we have to tell them now” he said nervous “ why the rush dad” I asked but before he could answer I heard someone walking up to the office I didn’t recognize this persons sent so I jumped up and threw grace behind me I could sense her fear the next thing I knew that damn rouge enters my office and behind him my dad graces dad and brother.

“WHAT THE f**k DAD” I asked pissed.

“he escaped somehow” dad said as he took the needle full of wolfsbane in his hand and stuck it in the rouges neck a couple of warriors came in and took him back down to the cellar

“ okay who was that and why is he here” I heard my angel say I turned around and could see the pure terrior in her eyes

“ that’s the man that killed your mother” my father said causing grace to fall to the floor and start sobbing
