The night passed without Princess Erysthea even sleeping. All night she just thought and waited for what would happen next. She wanted to teleport away from the secret room but she didn't have time because Guardian Chase also watched over her all night. So now the just stares at the ceiling of the room while holding her breath.
After a while, the door to the secret room suddenly opened. Princess Erysthea immediately got up and she burst into tears when she saw her parents.
"How are you, our princess?" the mother asked her teary-eyed.
"Mom, Dad."
Princess Etysthea could no longer hold back from approaching the parents. She hugged them tightly while crying.
"It's alright, princess. Everything's alright," her father calmly told her.
"Guardian Chase, thank you very much for protecting our only daughter," the queen said with a smile to Guardian Chase.
"It's my responsibility, your Highness," Guardian Chase answered politely.
"Princess Erysthea, I know you have a lot of questions but the kings and queens of the three kingdoms are coming here today with their sons. So you have to stay in your room. When the meeting is over we will come to you right away. You understand it, isn't it?"
Princess Erysthea did nothing but nod. They started walking out of the secret room. Princess Erysthea looked outside the palace and saw some damage caused by last night's attack. All the staff in the palace are busy because there is so much to clean.
"We prevented them from completely entering the palace so only the outside was damaged," said Princess Erysthea's father seriously.
The princess secretly held her breath because she didn't know if he was talking to her. Because in her whole life, she cannot participate in the conversation when the topic is the palace or the kingdom. That's why she was a little surprised that his father mentioned it.
"Princess Erysthea, would you like me to accompany you to your room?" Guardian Chase asked him gently.
The princess quickly shook her head. "I want to sleep first because I haven't slept yet. So if possible, please don't disturb me," she begged.
Guardian Chase agreed to her request. When they arrived in front of her room, her parents kissed her on the forehead.
"Thank you for behaving yourself, princess," the father said to her seriously.
"We'll talk later. Take a rest for a while," her mother said with a smile.
She nodded and did not speak again. She entered her room and locked the door. She let out a deep breath and collapsed onto her bed. She thought she would be with her parents now. But because of their obligations, she was left alone again. It's getting messy but here she is, still hiding in her world because of the existing tradition.
She wants to change her life. She wants to be a normal royal just like the three princes. But how can she do it? If she completely breaks the rules, her parents will face the consequence of her actions. And it might cause her to be killed by their world.
She just wants to be happy. But her destiny won't allow it. And it s*cks thinking that if she doesn't take action right now, she will live her life miserably.
