I sat out in the back yard, while Joshua played with Mina. Now that I had vampire power, she looked different too. Thanks to Emilian and Jacelyn. She was okay if different. This whole time, I had been hated by my father and my brother for being another's child. Only to realize it wasn't even true. My whole life, my own father had been trying to break me, so I was just like...a monster. It was revenge towards the man that helped my mother do the wrong. There wasn't any wrong to avenge. "Mama, why are you crying?" Joshua's voice broke my train of thought. He wiped away a tear on my cheek. I looked at him, and placed a hand on his cheek.
