We walked there so as not to raise suspicion from the neighbors. Chris called Gunner and explained just in case. Gunner wanted to send back up but Chris said no, not until the field was gone. Reluctantly, Gunner agreed and was on stand by. Once we arrived, I could already feel the energy coiling itself around me, trying to make me forget, but I was able to touch the protection field with my hands. It burned a little. The strength of it was surprising.
