Chapter Four
The higher they climbed, the more beautiful the views became. Nessie was awestruck by the mountains surrounding them like old gentlemen who’d sat down to rest. Close to the summit, they passed a small group of hikers who all looked decidedly exhausted. Nessie, however, was brimming with energy. Walking up mountains was going to be her new favourite pastime.
After another very steep bit, they finally reached a rocky plateau. There were several stone cairns in the distance as well as a strange looking building clinging to the mountaintop.
