Chapter Five
She breathed a sigh of relief as soon as she was on the train west. Jonas hadn't appeared at the station as she'd feared. Now, she just needed to push him from her mind and focus on her mission: meet the sea kelpies and learn from them. Maybe meet a sea kelpie man and see if they were any better than Loch kelpie guys. Anything to get Jonas out of her mind.
This time, she had the compartment to herself for the entire journey. No more humans wiggling their way into her heart and thoughts.
