Jonas cleared his throat and she shoved those thoughts from her mind. It was time to show off. She reached for her magic and formed a single, large drop of water in the air, hovering above the palm of her hand. Jonas gasped again, but she'd only just started. She made the drop expand until it was the size of an apple. It began to spin around its own axis, faster and faster until the light shining on it turned into a miniature rainbow. It had taken her a long time to have this much control. It was easy to throw a large amount of water at enemies - or annoying friends - but it was much harder to keep control of just one or two drops.
