As they sat on the beach, Alex's words hung in the air like a challenge. Emily knew that she had to be strong, to stand by Alex as he faced his family and took back what was rightfully his.
"I'll stand by you," she said, her voice firm. "We'll face this together."
Alex's eyes locked onto hers, filled with gratitude and admiration. "I knew I could count on you," he said, his voice filled with emotion.
Together, they began to formulate a plan. They would gather evidence of Alex's family's wrongdoings, build a case against them, and take it to the authorities.
