Next stop:Marion state

The van jerks to a sudden halt along the road,I hear John swear faintly from the front,he probably spilled coffee on himself again?.... "Aubrey.... we're here sweetie" Martha places her arm on my shoulders and tries to jerk me awake...I'm not even asleep to begin with "hmmmm...."I mumble,I'm still mad at her...at both of them!,why do we always have to move??!,why do they hide me?,...they claim it's to protect me but....I'm so sick and tired of running....you're probably a bit lost in my story right now so let me take you back a bit..... I'm Aubrey...17 years old,I used to live in South Carolina,....up until I was 9 that is...my parents died in a car crash(or at least that's what I'm told)...so....John and Martha adopted me...the circumstances did seem strange judging that I was adopted only after two weeks following my parents deaths...John is a real estate agent and Martha is a sales manager... also...I'm just saying that's what I'm told...I mean what kind of job allows them to pack up so fast and move from one state to the other?!...but I'm never given answers....which is why I'm mad right now....we just left winscotch...a perfect great town with so many great things about it,I was just starting to make friends,and finally settle down to have a normal life than what my gypsy parents had...yep,I was "told" that my real parents are gypsy so....yeah,I've got technically no roots whatsoever....Martha hates it but...over the years she had to get accustomed to my usual..."E-girl look"....yes,only there's the fact she refers to it as goth...I know!,the nerve!,...so...why do we move so often?....well,a few days after they adopted me...my "normal" changed....meaning?!, I'm a "blessed" person...I have what you normal people would refer to as..."superpowers"...but the deal is that when my parents were alive...I've always felt perfectly normal...till one evening when I was 9 I used my body to shield an old lady crossing the street from an on coming truck...which got totaled btw!!,and I left the scene unscathed...the headlines throughout south Carolina the next day was "wonder girl!,who is she??" reporters and science firm were after me like crazy!!,so....my new parents packed everything up...and we've been on the run ever since...what I fail to understand now is why we are still running!,it's been years!,the reporters and scientists would have definitely given up by now!...but John and Martha don't think so...so here we are...moving again!.....to a state most people have never heard of (which included me till yesterday morning).... "come on Aubrey...we haven't got all day"Martha called to me from behind the truck so we can start moving our boxes inside the giant rustic looking house we were packed in front of....ughhhh!I'm gonna hate it here!!,...I didn't even get to say a proper goodbye to my friends back in winscotch... Jennifer (my girlfriend)was so pissed when I called to tell her we were packed up and moving away....ughhh!!... I start helping with moving the boxes into the house feeling like my day just couldn't get any worse!....it did!!
