In the coldest place on earth, far from where any human foot has tread for thousands of years, a headquarters. The descendants of the fallen angels gather together to have a meeting.

What news do any of you have on the humans?
VOOOKIMA
All things are going as planned. The worthless humans cannot stop fighting and hating each other on every level.
RU'INKTA
Interesting. But these are all just words of yours. Data. I want to see the humans suffer in real time.
VOOOKIMA
We have many centers in place where we monitor the humans. All over the world, we have many testing sites where we observe humans, find their weaknesses, and exploit them.
VOOOKIMA
In fact, I was monitoring one such place as we speak. A facility set up to look like a "Magic School." Ahahaha! The silly humans really think we would allow them that much power. It's the perfect ruse to gather a bunch of greedy little humans and watch as they destroy each other.
RU'INKTA
A Magic School? Why, that sounds charming and beautiful. Are you sure the humans are using it to destroy each other?
VOOOKIMA
Oh yes! If you want you can see for yourself.
VOOOKIMA
(Adjust his 'human watch' TV set where they watch ridiculous humans all day)
Here we go. A good show is about to come on! Watch it with me and delight in the human's downfall.
And this is followed by evil laughter as the fallen one picks up the remote and turns the television ON.
BLACK SCREEN
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Last time, we peeked inside Absolution Academy—America's first official magic school. It's a place built on ambition, chaos, and a whole lot of ECTO.
FLASHBACK – INT. ABSOLUTION ACADEMY BOYS BATHROOM – DAY
Rahbeem, Diaz, and Beetle Bangz bust Vegas and his crew mid-drug use.
FLASHBACK – INT. ACADEMY HALLWAY – DAY
Rahbeem eyes the glowing baggie of Ecto. Beetle Bangz watches him, silent.
BLACK SCREEN AGAIN
NARRATOR (V.O.)
But before Absolution ever opened its doors... there was Kaye Beltran.
The modern world's powerful sorcerer!
The man who proved magic was real-and taught the world the power of DARK FAITH.
EXT. BELTRAN HOME – BACKYARD – DAY
Four boys lounge in black robes on the grass, laughing and wrestling. Vegas (6), Eddie (7), Seth (8), and Chris (9). Their laughter fades as a pair of tall, black-jeaned legs step into the frame. Kaye Beltran. Their first magic tutor. The boys look up. Their faces tell you all you need to know about their relationship with this "man."
Vegas's eyes flicker with fear. Chris stares, defiant. Eddie tilts his head, intrigued and Seth sits straighter, mimicking Kaye's stance.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
To reward their devotion, Kaye gave each boy a gift. But gifts from Kaye Beltran were never free. Each one carried a shadow.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
To Seth, he gave a special tool. While most wizards use a magic wand, Seth's instrument for magic would be a rippin' blue guitar.
INT. INSIDE THE BELTRAN COMPOUND - DAY
Kaye hands Seth a shiny blue guitar. Seth takes the guitar with a smile and looks at it with wide eyes, filled with excitement.
SETH
This is the coolest s**t EVER!
Seth flinches when Kaye raises his hand, as though he intends to smack him for cursing.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
To Richard, Kaye's very own flesh-and-blood nephew, he gave a special familiar.
INT. INSIDE VEGAS' CHILDHOOD BEDROOM - DAY
Richard "Vegas" Beltran is on the floor crying his eyes out as a Toad in his frog form is crawling all over his face. The cute little frog is bossy. He doesn't realize he is the familiar and Vegas is his master.
VEGAS
IT'S UGLY!
KAYE
You're ugly.
At that, Vegas cries grow louder. Toad sits proudly on the side of his face, croaking his superiority.
NARRATOR
To Eddie Bon Moon, he gave a penchant for psychic dreams...
EXT. THE BELTRAN BACKYARD - DAY
Eddie is in a grassy backyard alone, just leaning back in a simple wooden chair.
EDDIE
(to the audience)
What you thought he was gonna say? Kaye gave me my intelligence?
EDDIE
How the white man gonna give me what he ain't got?
SETH (O.S.)
(Chuckles)
Knock it off, Eddie!
Eddie rolls his eyes as he continues to bob on the chair.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
And last but certainly not least, he gave a gift that was very peculiar to his eldest student, Christopher Robyn.
INT. INSIDE THE BELTRAN HOME LIVING ROOM - DAY
Chris lounges in his chair; his posture is loose and lazy. Kaye approaches, cradling a bundle in his arms. As he draws nearer, the mystery unravels-a tiny sleeping girl is in his arms. Portia Bon Moon.
The narrator tries to explain, but now his voice is glitching like a malfunctioning robot.
Meanwhile, Chris's image begins to flicker, like an old TV on the blink.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
A Wife-A Wifuu- wu-wuuuuuuuu
And the scene freezes with Chris looking at Portia. His eyes have a strange, wolfish focus on them.
But before we can analyze it too deeply, the scene shuts off, and we see the black emptiness of a screen.
CUT TO BLACK
