CHAPTER 4 - Sisters meet again

1340 Words
THIRD PERSON POV Sara was in shock to see her twin sister, Julia, at Richmond’s mansion. The last that she heard from her was that she was going away from town for a while and she had not seen her since then. Julia wasn't even present at Sara’s wedding but she didn't mind and they never kept in touch. “What are you doing here?” Sara asked, her voice breaking and eyebrows wide open in shock. “What do you mean by what I am doing here?” Julia smirked, still caressing her baby bump gracefully. Julia’s gaze were fixed on 4 months old Tristan. “Oh, is that the bastard child?” she said, making a cute pity face to mock her. Julia soon busted out a mocking laughter as if she had been trying to keep it in but just couldn't. “Isn’t he cute though?” Julia continued, walking over to her twin sister, Sara, who was still on her knees, and her baby. “It's a shame that he is a bastard who doesn't belong to the Richmond family,” Julia mocked while touching little Tristan on the cheeks but was met with Sara’s resistance, who shoved her hands away. “Sister, what is all these about?” “Are you also pregnant? I wasn't expecting you here. I thought you were out of town,” Sara asked Julia curiously. Julia responded with another mocking laughter. “After all these years, you are still so naive and foolish” “Too bad you have added being a w***e to your credentials,” Julia covered her mouth in her hands and made funny faces. Julia walked over to Mr. Richmond and caressed his shoulders gently. Sara widened her eyebrows in shock as to how Julia had such power over someone she didn't dare come close to. ‘If she can rub Mr. Richmond’s shoulders like this, I wonder what he would do to my husband,’ she thought. “You see, Richmond, my twin sister was the wrong person to have chosen to marry your son,” Julia said, caressing his shoulder. “She has always had that tendency to sleep around with rusty men” “Even from our orphanage days, her poor character always got her into one trouble or the other” Sara just watched on with tears in her eyes as Julia heaped the harsh words on her, worsening her situation. “My daughter, go get me a glass of water,” Richmond told Julia as she paused her shoulder massage. ‘My daughter?’ Sara thought. ‘Richmond now sees Julia as his daughter and not her who is still Kurt’s wife. Julia walked towards her and whispered into her ears, “you think you can steal Kurt and our heritage away from me just because we had a little breakup? Well, guess whose baby is in my belly?” Julia smiled mockingly before going to get Richmond’s glass of water. It fully dawned on Sara that Julia had gotten the Richmond family in her hands and she was determined to use deception to fulfil her aim. “Mr. Richmond please, don't listen to Julia, my baby is for your son,” Sara begged, this time holding onto Mr. Richmond’s feet with tears forming a cloud in her eyes. Mr. Richmond ignored Sara and just then, Sara’s adoptive parents, Ilkay and Margaret walked in. Sara wiped her face mildly and her jaws dropped open. “Oh, don't be surprised, I summoned them here,” Mr. Richmond said. Kurt also walked in moments later as Sara continued begging him but was met with another resistance. “Get off me, you p********e,” Sara yelled. “Take a look at this,” Mr. Richmond gave Ilkay and Margaret the medical report showing Sara’s child not being for Kurt. “Do you know what this means for you both? This goes against our old agreement. I am not someone to be joked with,” Mr. Richmond said, stamping his feet on the floor. “Don’t be angry please,” Margaret begged, kneeling towards Mr. Raymond “We will make it up to you” “We didn't know that our daughter could be so shameless and go as low as giving her husband a bastard child” Ilkay soon put his manly ego aside and knelt too. “Afterall, we still have Julia as our foster daughter and I hear that she is pregnant too,” he said. “Please let Kurt take Julia as his wife instead. After all, they are twins. They are born to the same parents. We didn't expect Sara to turn out as a p********e” Julia, hearing her foster parents vouch for her for what seemed like the first time, formed an evil smile on her face. Julia caressed her baby bump again and walked towards Kurt with her bum shaking left and right as if to seduce him. “Darling, you don't need to worry about my sister. I already have your baby and a true heir to your family. There is no need to worry yourself over a bastard child,” she said, rubbing Kurt’s chest gently and arousing him. Mr. Raymond seemed to have had enough of what seemed like a family meeting and said to Ilkay and Margaret, “it's alright, you are lucky that Julia is of the same blood with this b***h. “I will have a private talk with my son and we will decide about the next action to take” “In the meantime, you can leave” Mr. Raymond soon signaled his guards to force Sara and her child away from his house and they did, this time wading away her resistance easily. “Come on, there is somewhere I want us to go,” Kurt told Julia as they bid their father, Mr. Raymond goodbye. While Kurt and Julia were in the SUV car, Julia teased Kurt, “darling, I am so happy that your eyes has been opened to my sister’s shameful ways. Imagine if I hadn’t done the test without her knowledge and shown you the medical report.” “You would have been caring for a bastard” Kurt just formed a casual smile with his hands around her shoulder. “So when are you going to divorce her?” Julia asked curiously. “Is there something else you are waiting for?” Kurt hummed and chuckled nervously without saying a word. ‘What is going on in his mind? Is the medical report not enough for him to divorce her? Seems like I have only just started. Does he even like me enough to marry me? Does he like me at all?’ Julia kept thinking. She decided that she had to do something that would provoke a reaction from Kurt towards Sara. The next morning, Sara boarded a Taxi heading towards her foster parent’s house. She wanted to plead with them and convince them that the medical report was a fake. “Kelly-Clark Street please,” she said. Sara opened the door but as she was about to enter into the taxi, she met doom. A power bike was approaching at top speed towards her. The flashlight of the bike shone on Sara and it gave her flashbacks of how her parents did in a car accident where she was in the car. She was lost for a second because of it and that was all it took for the bike to crash into her. “Ma’am, Ma’am,” the taxi driver said, rushing out of his taxi, before shouting at the driver of the bike who wore a mask and was speeding off, “Come back here you i***t, you might have killed someone.” The taxi driver was horrified at what he saw and confirmed that Sara still had a pulse. He soon saw a figure standing over him. “Leave her alone, She’s is my problem now,” a manly voice said.
