Chapter 1
Once upon a time- wait, no. Scratch that. It was actually a bright, sunny day. The sky was crystal blue, and the breeze was quite refreshing. There were a few random birds chirping and the plants in the greenhouse were all… green too, I guess? It was almost like any other school day. Almost. But they were blooming. My lilies are blooming. The lilies that I planted because of my great love for her. It makes my heart flutter restlessly and my smile widen a bit more to think that the lilies bloomed because of my love. I planted it for her--I planted it for the most beautiful person in my eyes. She’s very reason I entered this school. With the garden hose and a small shovel in my hands, I made my way around the garden beds to water and tend to the delicate flowers. All of a sudden, I heard a loud crash followed by a honeyed voice spewing what I think was an expletive. "Awwww, Great Mer!" I craned my neck to find the source of the sound and my feet brought me outside, just behind the shed. I raised my shovel up, ready to defend myself from the unfortunate soul who wandered near my greenhouse.   A second of silence passed before I heard the very pissed feminine voice again and I turned towards a wheelbarrow and found... An angel. It took me a couple of seconds to compose myself because I was at loss for words. There’s a pretty girl on my garden. She had her back towards me as she dusted herself off, but from what I can see, she had the most radiant, shiny blonde hair reaching just short of her butt. She was clad in a long, flowing white dress that was almost conservatively styled. But her back was clearly visible from the sheer material that covered it. Suddenly, I remembered why I had come running here in the first place. "Holy s**t, are you okay?" I asked the girl who seemed to just pop out of nowhere. The girl turned around, speaking with an accent I never heard before "You're gorgeous! You are my choice. I want you to marry me and make babies with me." I didn’t know what surprised me more; the words that came out of her mouth or the fact that she is the most gorgeous person I had ever seen. "Answer, answer, answer..." the girl muttered, smiling- no, beaming at me. What the hell? I was so stunned the only reply I could say was: “Yeah?” "Great! My name is Aimee and you are now my wife," as the girl said this, I felt something warm in my right earlobe. I reached for it and was surprised to find an earring. "What's this?" I replied, still in shock. "That's the symbol that you accept my proposal. Mine's here,” she tilted her head and tucked her hair behind her ear to show me an earring. “It'll change color when we're bound together." Accept her proposal? But I just blurted out 'Yeah' without thinking! "Huh? I didn't- Bound together?" My brows furrowed in confusion. Every second that passes is getting weirder and weirder and I’m pretty sure this girl is an escapee from a mental institution somewhere. What a waste though. "When we make love and bury our earrings together in the Tierre Sanctuarium, we'll have a baby!"  Okay, now I’m sure she’s crazy. "Um, you know two women can't really have a baby, right?" I asked, humoring her as I felt around my uniform’s pocket for my phone. "Yes they can if one is from Planet Tierre and one from Earth." I paused. “Planet what now?” “My home planet. Planet Tierre,” the girl replied innocently. What was her name again? Anna? Ai-…da? Oh, wait… was it Aimee? "I don't really understand what you are talking about, Aimee..." I should definitely call the cops. "I know you think I'm a weirdo but I'm not. You can trust me. We can talk about this in your place of rest maybe?" Aimee said to me sincerely. I looked past Aimee's curious, pretty face and I was calmed instantly as I looked into the laughing emerald gems she had for eyes. Finally, I sighed before letting go of my phone and pulling my hand out of my pocket. "Okay. But on one condition." "What is that?" Aimee asked. "You tell me everything," I demanded. If she was indeed, mentally unstable, the worst thing to do was to call the police on her. They’d haul her away and lock her up until someone reported her missing. I can’t let them do that to her. Aimee smiled at me and I felt my heart race. What is this? I feel... uneasy. But in a… good way? “Okay, Aimee,” I started, tentatively walking towards her. “Let’s go home,” I subtly checked for any concealed weapons, but so far all she had with her was a pendant. Finally, I led Aimee to my car and drove home. During the drive, I eyed Aimee who seemed genuinely amused at what she's seeing outside the car. Her eyes took in almost every detail and she occasionally gazed at me appreciatively. We arrived at my house and Aimee got out, taking in her surroundings once more. "Welcome to my house. I guess?" I said as we entered my home. I let Aimee sit on the couch and I seated myself on the love seat opposite of her. "Very impressive, Luna," Aimee said. What? How did she- "How did I know your name? I just knew, I guess," she shrugged, busying herself by looking around curiously while the hairs at my nape raised. "And I really wish you no harm. As I said, I was looking for a suitable wife. And you are now my choice." Great. I brought home a pyscho. Why do I always fall for the pretty face? "Okay, do you have any idea who am I? How old am I? Or do you really think I'd agree?" I scratched the back of my head. "You do like me, don't you?" Aimee simply asked me and my mouth went wide open. "Well... y-yeah. But that doesn't mean I'd be your wife!" "Wow, it's really true. People from Earth are sheltered," Aimee said with a slight laughter. "And what does that mean?!" Aimee stopped laughing and faced me. "I'm sorry, Luna. But from where I come from, when you like someone, and that someone likes you, there's no reason for you two to not bind yourself together physically and emotionally,"Aimee explained to me slowly. "What? Where are you from?" "I come from Planet Tierre, a world of women a few galaxies away from your planet. We are taught at birth that hiding your feelings will bring you nowhere, hence the profuse honesty when it comes to expressing feelings like love, desire, and pleasure." World of women… Few galaxies away? "Are you saying you're an alien?!" Aimee laughed and despite myself being shookt, I couldn’t help but admire even her laugh.   “Well, yes. In your words, I am an alien. I come from a world of all women,” Aimee said simply. “I don’t believe this! Come with me, I’ll take you to the police station,” I said, finally having enough before holding Aimee’s hand to get her up. At the moment our hands touched, I became washed down again with the same annoying calmness. I looked at Aimee incredulously and let go of her hand like it burned me. “Why Luna? Don’t you trust me?” I hesitated. Before I could reply, Aimee pulled me tight and looked into my eyes. I melted under those eyes. In one swift move, Aimee kissed my forehead and I became sleepy. “No,” I weakly protested as I was being laid down on the couch. My mind was bursting and alive, but my body felt heavy. My eyelids felt the heaviest of all. “Shush. Sleep and be aware, my bride,” I was fighting my sleepiness but it was too strong. The last thing I felt was a soft, warm body embracing me and someone singing a peculiar song. Then, all became black. I opened my eyes and I was standing in the middle of an intersection. Panicking, I looked around and a speedy flying car was suddenly headed towards my direction. I let out a shrill scream and braced myself for the impact, but all I heard was a silent whizz. Confused, I opened my eyes to observe my surroundings more. The people-… the women all around me didn’t seem to see me. With weak knees, I willed myself to walk to the nearest pedestrian and was about to touch her when my hand went through her. Literally went through her like I’m from the Casper movie. My mind raced and thoughts jumbled up. I felt nauseous and I knew I was having a bad trip. Sure, I don’t really smoke pot but this is the only explanation I could come up with. I looked around once more, not really daring to move from my spot. There were a few dome-shaped buildings not far from me. The buildings themselves seemed like they were concrete. There doesn’t seem to be any entrances or win- Zing! A girl just passed through the wall. Oh, she looks like Aimee! “Aimee!” I called after her, only then remembering that she couldn’t hear me. I follow Aimee for a while, taking in my foreign surroundings. I had been to Japan. The place almost had the same technologically advanced and first world country vibes. But I knew this place is nowhere near Japan. Just the people alone --the women, looked so foreign. But they looked good though. Finally, Aimee made her way into a wide lawn where a large capsule-shaped rocket was waiting for her. Of course. She’s going to get into this big rocket ship. “Alpha 3401, ready to launch.” I looked around the inside quarters after I had just followed her. There were writings on the monitor, but I couldn’t decipher them. I have seen Sumerian and Sanskrit text but the characters were too alien. The ship shook lightly and instinctively, I reached for the closest thing I could grab hold of. Then I remembered I can’t physically touch anything. Aimee waited for a few moments, talking furiously on her earpiece before the ship finally took off and sailed away. I’m going to say the ship sailed away, because the takeoff was smooth and while we were-…. wherever the hell we were, being inside the ship felt like being on a gondola while the ferryman gently commandeered the vehicle. Looking out through the window, the ship kept getting higher until it reached out of the atmosphere’s bounds. The void looked black, and bleak. It continued to be that way, passing by a few asteroids here and there. Until a gentle light, becoming brighter and brighter, penetrated through the place. I could see planets from the illumination. At last, at the very center, I found a very large and bright circle. The sun. Before I had time to really appreciate the beauty of the sun, I felt the ship begin to descend at a very familiar looking planet. “Operator, this is Ship 003401xxx, requesting permission to land on Earth,” I heard Aimee say. Hoooly. So she is an alien!  After I don’t know how long, the ship landed right in the middle of a park. Hey, this looks like the park at near our school. Aimee gingerly went out and I followed her still. Aimee pushed a button on her watch and she instantly went flying. Surprisingly, I went flying with her. Somehow, at the middle of the flight, Aimee’s device malfunctioned and she swung dangerously side to side. After a few seconds of dangerous flight, Aimee landed in the greenhouse with a thud. “Awwww... Great Mer!” Aimee said. Wait, déjà vu? And then, just like what happened earlier I saw myself. Do I really look that pretty? “You’re gorgeous! You are my choice. I want you to marry me and make babies with me.”   --------------------- End of Dream --------------------   “Luna, are you awake? Luna!” I heard a voice. I opened my eyes and found Aimee smiling down at me,caressing my hair. “Well do you believe me now?” I realized that I had my head on Aimee’s lap. “What the hell was that?” I immediately scurried off her lap and looked at her incredulously. Aimee laughed and stood up to kiss my nose. “Luna, I gave you a flashback. The scenes that you saw were true. If you want more proof, I can show you my spaceship.” I sat down weakly. This girl is… an alien. Aliens… are real. “No!” I put some distance between us and swallowed. “N-no more weird stuff please.” Aimee nodded and smiled. “So,” I started after a long while. “Uh, will-… will you tell me more about your planet?” “Sure. After all, you are my bride.” I felt a hitch in my breath. “Umm… Aimee, no more weird stuff. And I’m not ready to be a bride. Not for a long time to come.” “Don’t worry, you’ll fall in love with me soon enough. It’s okay to try, right?” “Ummm... This is really weird. This is all so new to me.” “It’s okay. We can just start being... friends. That’s what you call it here right?” This girl really is weird. Well, she is an alien after all. “Yes. Yes it is,” I cleared my throat. “So tell me, Aimee, what it is like living on your planet?” Aimee looked at me and then smiled.  “Well, from what I learned and experienced here, it’s pretty much the same. Only we are all women in our planet. It’s so… unusual seeing males around the whole place. Usually we just find them at Planet Homme, a planet of men.” Wow, a planet of men! But then again, if there was a planet of all women, I wouldn’t be surprised to find something like this. “Seems like there’s a lot in this universe that we hadn’t discovered.” “That’s right. Your technology needs updating. Humans need to look more into nuclear energy and stop on that ridiculous notion of solar energy. Unless you manage to magnify the sun’s heat rays by a million times, you will never be able to harness the sun as a sustainable energy source for the whole planet. You are missing so much on intergalactic travels! Like Planet Guur, the nearest from your galaxy. It is a planet of blue people and it is the center of Bionics in the whole universe.” Me being the biggest nerd, started to geek out. Bionics! I’ve always wondered what it would feel to be a cyborg. And I ignored Aimee’s comment about solar energy despite my fascination with the subject itself. “I’m afraid humans still don’t have the necessary knowledge to fully delve into the topic of nuclear physics.” Aimee made a sound that I think was the equivalent of a scoff. “Sure you do. You even built a bomb out of it. And harnessing Hydrogen to improve your bombs? Truly genius at that time! Planet Tuilr even readied themselves for war in case you start raging war against nearby planets. But of course, we realized you were more interested in killing each other.” I wanted to argue but again, I shut my mouth. This is the time to listen and absorb knowledge. “Will you say that nuclear energy is the most powerful and reasonably stable power source on Earth?” Aimee shook her head. “Nuclear energy is like kindergarten compared to other more powerful energy sources we have seen inside your planet. That is why even if your technology if primitive, we still consider you a threat. If you humans just stop with your petty wars for a moment, you’ll understand why.” So we’re like… mosquitoes? They carry fatal threats like malaria but generally, they are ignored because how pathetic would it be to declare war against insects 1/1,000,000 of your size? I felt hurt. “I wish I could just… visit these places and learn,” I sighed. “Luna, by Tierran law you are my bride now. You can come with me and we’ll gallivant around the galaxy if you like.” “Oh yeah. Can you tell me more about your people? I’m just curious. Are you taking a human form just to blend in?” Aimee looked at me questioningly. “What do you mean?” “I mean you don’t have six arms or legs or two heads or four eyes, do you?” I blurted out. Aimee just looked at me like I just asked the silliest of all questions. Then, Aimee laughed. Out loud. I guess I watched too many movies. “Luna, you are the cutest!” Aimee pinched my cheeks after she brushed tears from her eyes. Aimee then calmed down. “You’d be surprised at how many beings in the universe look similar to humans. Well, basically human and tierran anatomies are related. Our reproductive organs, especially, are just the same,” she paused. “It’s just that our planet was created a few millenniums before yours so we are more evolved.” “More evolved. How?”  “For example, we no longer have such long digestive tracts. Our bodies learned to produce stronger acids to digest our fiber-rich diet. And we also don’t grow excessive hair. The only hair remaining on our bodies are the hair on our heads and faces, never in our privates.” “Oh! Can I feel?” I spoke a little excitedly, not thinking about how my words sounded. I gasped and Aimee’s eyes widened when we realized how suggestive that sounded. “How bold of you, Luna,” Aimee giggled and I felt my cheeks heat up and redden. “Shut up, Aimee,” but then I chuckled too. “Do you want to remove your excess hair?” she asked and I looked up. “What?” “Do you want to remove your excess hair?” Aimee repeated and I found myself nodding unsurely. “Yes?” “Close your eyes please?” Aimee suddenly said. I hesitated before closing my eyes. After a while, I felt her breath on my cheek causing me to open my eyes. Just to come face to face with Aimee’s luscious lips. I swallowed hard and dared to look higher. I saw her swallow too and slowly pull away. Only then did I notice the necklace she put on my neck. “What’s this?” I asked. “I thought you’re going to make me h-hairless?” “Oh I did. Look at your arms and legs. Go on,” I looked at her, then my arms. Smooth as a baby’s butt. Shit.  “I... Does it have to do with this?” I said, holding up the necklace. “Yeah. I invented it. Our people don’t need it but many other planets have taken an interest in it. We offer it for trade,” she said smiling. “Tell me, how did you invent this?” “Well, it starts with this process called…” -------------------------------------------------- “Aimee, it’s getting late. Do you have a place to stay?” I asked, looking at Aimee. These past few hours were spent talking about Aimee’s people and culture. And honestly, even if I still don’t believe her a hundred percent, she’s quite harmless. “Actually, the ship also acts as my quadrant. But it’s broken. So I guess at a... ho-tel? Right?” I nodded. “Yes but you renting a hotel room is nonsense. You can sleep here. I’m the only one living here since my parents are in another state.” Aimee’s smile widened even more. “Great! I’d get to know you more.”
