Chapter 15: Cursed Face

"What is it a damsel in distress?"
A guy in a black hoodie spoke to me. I couldn't see his face but there's a huge smile in his face.
"This two guys! They tried to touch me!"
I shouted. I feel sorry for not telling CJ and Rodner about this. But I guess this is much better.
"Please let me stay by your side! I don't want to be stuck here with this bastards!"
I added. Now, this really makes me a cruel person. Though, we really need this as the progress for the cure is near to it's completion. I can't just stop now.
"Get her out of here."
The guy said. It didn't take long when a guard opened the gates and brought me outside.
"Thank-"
I haven't finished my words when Hikari got close to me and rested his arms to my back. This is disgusting. How dare he touch me like this easily.
We continued to walk like this until reaching a staircase. Hikari separated from me and headed first.
"This way my queen."
Hikari bowed while he positioned his arms to right to show the way. It was as if he's thinking of himself as the highest among everyone.
I continued to walk into a spiral staircase. This place was small stadium with a building next to it before the apocalypse. Now, it was a safe zone belonging to this guy.
I reached the end of the stairs and saw a door in front of me. It has a word "leader" on the top of it.
"Beautiful isn't? But that's only the front door. You'll be amaze by how it looked inside."
Hikari explained while smiling. He then made his way to open the door. Slowly, I saw the place inside.
"Welcome to my place!"
Hikari's room looks like the inside of a castle. It feels so unrealistic. There was a chandelier hanging at the top, a yellow throne consisting of different colored gems, and even a royal bed.
"Come in."
Hikari let me inside. He followed me as I went first. Suddenly, he closed the door and removed the cap of his hoodie.
I could see his face clearly. He has an eyes of a narrow leaf, a pointed nose and a light colored lips. His hair was messy, but it suits him.
"You could sit on the bed."
Hikari said. I can't help, but to do so. It has been months already since I slept on a bed. I then turned my attention to Hikari.
"Why do you cover such beautiful face?"
I asked in curiosity. Hikari again smiled. You could see his milk-colored teeth as he does that.
"You want to know?"
Hikari walked closer. Slowly, I could hear his footsteps. He's getting near. It didn't took long when his face is close to mine.
"Because others can't resist it."
I was laid on the bed. Our body's closer to each other. Hikari's messy hair covers his face. I could still see those light-colored lips.
"What do you-"
I haven't finished my words when our lips touched. I could feel his tongue moves. This continues for a minute.
Hikari moved away from me. He then touched my shoulders as if removing my clothes.
"Sir! Someone tried to escape!"
A guard shouted from outside. Hikari's eyes averted his eyes to me. He then got off and put back the cap of his hoodie.
"Well, duty calls."
Hikari left the room. I was left here lying. Slowly, I touched my lips. That guy, just did that to me.
"What did just happened?"
Back in the prison cells where things are rough. Rodner found out something. This time, in CJ's eyes, everything will change.
I sat down and checked on Rodner. He seems to be finding out something.
"Now that you mention, that was build recently."
Mark said. I then stood up to check on the metal bars.
"It looks delicate. Let's try putting force unto this."
"Alright."
I prepared my feet as we're about to kick on this one. If this was made in a hurry, surely we could just break this in a snap.
"In 3..."
Rodner counted. I position my foot properly.
"2..."
"1..."
Bam. The upper part broke. It made a lot of noise and surely could attract the guards.
"Crap!"
"Hide it quickly!"
The door leading inside the prison cells opened. Just like what I thought, they surely heard that.
"What did just happened?!"
The metal bars seems normal. Rodner has a grasp in it.
"Ah. I was just exercising."
The guard stared. He must have been noticing something suspicious.
"Keep it down."
The guard went out of the room. Rodner then loosen up his grip to the metal bars.
"Just a little more push."
Rodner tried to push it using his hands. Kicking it would cause too much attention. I helped him as we try to remove the bottom part of the metal.
"A little more."
Suddenly, we heard an explosion from afar. At that time, I'm sure it was Karri that detonated it.
"What was that?"
A voice from the outside said. It seems like the guard decided to check on it. Rodner gave then started talking.
"One more kick."
"Let's go."
Without a warning, we immediately broke the metals. Rodner's observation helped us this time. No one came inside the room afterwards.
"What are you guys doing?"
Rias said. They were in front of us and saw what happened.
"Move aside, we'll get you out of that."
Rodner said while fixing his shoes. I looked around and realized that everyone's attention was onto us. We must have been lucky as the metal bars were made in an instance that it became too weak.
It haven't took long when we applied much force to the metal bars where Rias and the others are in. They were on the end of the wall as the metal bars dropped.
"There's a hole leading outside in our room. Let's use that."
Rodner explained. I went to Mark's cell and checked on him.
"Hm? Seems like our plan's doing good."
I checked around and realized that the girl that was behind her all the time was gone. I checked back to our room and saw a woman there.
"My girl will be coming with you. Don't forget about me 'kay?"
Mark said. I focused on the woman in front of me. She has a long brown hair and a fierce eyes. Her nose was somehow a little, though it looks cute.
"My name is Natasha."
"Let's go for now."
Rodner checked the hole and went outside first. Everyone followed soon after that.
The landmines haven't triggered around us. Karri must have deactivated them. I should save her now...
"I'll go check on Karri."
I explained. Everyone looked at me as I said those words.
"Fine then, let's meet at the parking lot. They must have put our van there."
Jaira explained. We then went on separate ways. I looked around the scenery of our location. Zombies are swarming as they heard the explosion before. In just a few minutes, this whole stadium will be filled with those monsters. I should hurry up and get Karri.
"This is my return for her."
