*Dylan’s POV*
Ever since Mary left I feel obnoxious, alone and miserable. How is it possible she has so much effect on me? I know it must be the mate bond, but something else must be involved too. I just wish I could message her, did she arrive safely? How is she holding up? Does she miss me as much as I miss her? How is her training going? All these kind of questions are rising and make me feel a bit nauseous. There is no time to focus on it, I need to train and prepare. It is odd to see her father Marvin lead our training, he doesn’t look as impressive as our regular trainer, our Beta Bob is one of the toughest guys from the pack, my father excluded of course.
