There's this woman at work that has been trying to get my attention since I came in.

Her name is Lucy.

She's Mrs Anderson's assistant.

She'd buy me coffee every morning and even lunch sometimes, she always comes to check up on me every single day.

At first I thought it was because I was new and she was trying to make me feel welcome, but it's been a month now heading to two..

And she shocked me this morning by saying, "Would you be free after work today? maybe we could go grab a drink together, or maybe even something to eat".

"I uhm... I... wow that is really nice of you but uhm, I don't know, I have to be with Mr Greenwood most of the days so, it's probably when he's less busy or not going anywhere", I replied.

She looked disappointed, "Okay, that's fine, maybe something time", she said and left.

I know I said I had sworn away from women after what Veronica did to me. But maybe this time I should go for someone of my level.

I'm always chasing the wind, Sebastian is my boss , a fucken billionaire. Veronica is a model, a fucken million.

Lucy is a nice girl that's normal, maybe this one won't be so terrible. Plus it should help me forget about Sebastian. I hope it does.

At lunch time today I invited Lucy to my office.

My office is right in front of Mr Greenwood's, also next to his secretary's.

Did I tell you that Mr Greenwood hired a man as his secretary? you won't believe but he did.

He said something about women drama. But hey I mean he almost f****d me so anything could happen.

"You wanted to see me?", she asked coming into my office.

"Yeahh, well I was thinking, since it's like, almost impossible for me to have a free time, we could talk every lunch time, with food of course", I said pushing the takeout I bought in front of her.

She smiled,"That will be very nice, thank you".

"Well come have a seat", I said and she did.

She's Philippine, has very dark short hair, perky boobs, lovely smile and pretty face.

But I don't find her attractive at all. Something is wrong with me.

"So .. tell me, why did you ask we see after work? or is that another kind gesture you show to everyone?", I asked.

. She blushed, "Well, no actually, I just thought it'll be nice to get to know you better".

"Really? what about me do you want to get to know better? and why me?".

"Well you seem interesting and calm. You're very on your own, you don't really relate with people and I think you're attractive ".

I smirked, "So what you're saying is that you find me attractive?", I asked.

She blushed again, "Of all the things I said you chose to pick only that?", she said.

"Well I find you attractive too Miss Lucy".

"And thank you for buying me coffee everyday ", I added.

Mr Greenwood's door opened and he looked at us for a moment.

He rubbed his temple.

"We're going out in 30 minutes, inform Larry ", he said and went inside without waiting for a response.

"Is it just me or has Mr Greenwood been acting weird lately, like he's changed, so cold and all", Lucy said.

"How long have you worked here?", I asked.

"A year, and the last time he was like that, was because of his dad, I could say the same again but, his dad hasn't been in the country for months now".

"It's probably work", I said.

Lies again, you took advantage of his drunken situation and now he regrets it and it's messing with him.

"Yeahh, people are saying it's because his fiancee cheated on him."

"You knew about Veronica?", I asked.

"Who didn't? like oh my gosh she was an obsessive and possessive b***h I'm shocked she actually did. This girl will break your nose if she catches you looking at him , that was how bad. And she still cheated? that girl was insane. Good thing they didn't end up together, I can't imagine the horror we'll be facing here".

Good thing indeed.

"Well I should get going, thank you so much for this, it was really nice talking to you, we should do this again sometime", she said standing up to leave.

"How about everyday?", I asked...

She smiled, "What?".

"Let's meet here everyday for lunch, together".

"It's a date", she said and left.

I sat on the table and sighed.

Maybe I should just tell her I'm gay and I would love us to be friends, real good friends. That way I don't have to look like a horrible person.

Because this is me leading her on and I'm obviously not gonna be with her.

I should.

I went downstairs to find Larry and pass the info to him.

I went back upstairs and I saw Anthony entering Sebastian's office.

Sebastian told me not to let him enter for any reason.

I rushed in immediately.

"I'm so sorry sir, I went downstairs to get Larry", I said immediately.

He didn't reply me, he turned to Anthony.

"What?".

"I don't want to have this conversation with your damn bodyguard here", Anthony said looking at me oddly.

"Dude he was there at the table when Dad talked about all those s**t, he watched the whole drama go down, and he even defended me, So I don't think anything you say is gonna change s**t, so wrap this up so he can escort you outside ".

Anthony sighed and raked his hair.

"There's something I found out today about Dad, even mom doesn't know about it, one of the reasons he's in such a hurry to get you to get married and settle down and have a fucken family so quick "..

"What is it Anthony, I'm listening ".

He swallowed hard.

"Sebastian, Dad has cancer".
