beginning of human Emperor
Introduction
Ram was a boy who hailed from an immensely powerful family. Yet, why was his foster father the biggest gangster in Mumbai? And how did Ram eventually become the master of the universe, the king of heaven, and the savior of this world?
Chapter 1
Ram was the kind of boy who was loved by every single person in the village. Since childhood, he strictly followed all morals and righteous paths, and he possessed a heart richer than anyone else's.
In truth, his foster father's original name was Rocky Ustad. One day, while Rocky was returning after finishing a brutal fight and collecting extortion money, he spotted a baby on the side of the road. The infant was incredibly beautiful and innocent. The moment Rocky looked at him, he was instantly reminded of his own childhood—how much pain he had endured and how hard he had struggled to reach this position.
To be precise, this Mumbai, this world, was not ordinary. It was a magical realm filled with demons, where people possessed distinct supernatural powers. Coming back to the story—when Rocky was a child, he didn't have much power. Back then, he had to fight demons, humans, and supernatural beasts just for a single morsel of food. Rocky had no family to lean on, nor did he possess any special powers. All he had was a stubborn obsession to become powerful.
The moment his grandfather—his only family—passed away when Rocky was just three years old, he started working hard all by himself. That was the beginning of the battle: Rocky vs. The World. Driven by his pure stubbornness and grit, he fought his way out of a rotten slum, carved out a name for himself across the entirety of India, and ruled over it.
When Rocky's grandfather passed away, Rocky loaded his body onto a handcart by himself, gathered the firewood on his own, and performed the final rites. You might be wondering why the neighbors didn't help. In that world, humanity had completely died out. On top of that, the neighborhood Rocky lived in was consumed by nothing but bloodshed, violence, and addiction.
Chapter 2: A New Hell and the Awakening of the System
As we already know, Rocky’s grandfather had passed away, and Rocky had just won the first major battle of his life. Now, he wanted to leave that blood-soaked slum and his old house behind forever. There was only one way out of that backward region—he had to enlist as a soldier. It was only under the guise of national service that people were rescued and taken away from that living hell.
Before leaving, Rocky wanted to search every nook and cranny of his house for valuables so that nothing important would be left behind. While searching, he stumbled upon an old ancestral locket. Because Rocky had just returned from a brutal brawl, his hand was deeply injured. A few drops of blood dripped from his wound and fell directly onto the locket.
The moment his blood touched it, the locket flashed with a blinding light. In the blink of an eye, Rocky was pulled out of reality and thrown into a completely different dimension!
The Desert Hell and the First 'System Task'
He materialized in a barren, terrifying realm that looked like an endless desert. Rocky was already exhausted from his previous fight, but a brand-new nightmare was waiting for him. Roaming the scorching sands were several massive, grotesque centipede-hybrid monsters. Seeking immediate cover, Rocky scrambled inside a cave hidden within a rocky mountain.
Suddenly, a glowing screen materialized right before his eyes. He had received his first-ever 'System Task'. But this was no ordinary quest—it was a stark warning. Flashing on a luminous red panel was a single word: "SURVIVE."
Terror gripped Rocky, but he knew that if he let fear take over, he would die. Thinking quickly, he formulated a plan: he wouldn't target the giant beasts right away. He would start small. And thus, Rocky’s 'Unlimited Hunt' began.
Arming himself with a heavy brick, he ambushed a small centipede monster and crushed it to death. The moment the creature died, a rush of energy surged through Rocky—his strength was beginning to increase. For days, he stayed inside that cave, hunting those small monsters and feeding on their meat to survive. Slowly but surely, both the level of his prey and Rocky’s own level began to scale up.
A Fatal Ambush and a Distant Metropolis
The real turning point came one night while Rocky was fast asleep. A massive, high-level centipede monster launched a devastating, full-force ambush on him. Just as death seemed certain, the mysterious power of the ancestral locket flared to life, shielding him from the fatal blow. However, the sheer force of the locket's energy ripped him out of that desert hell and hurled him into a different kind of nightmare—a place that looked like heaven but functioned like hell.
This marked the beginning of the next and most brutal chapter of Rocky’s life.
Completely battered and half-dead, Rocky collapsed into a massive trash heap in a sprawling, ultra-modern city. A ruthless human trafficker passing by noticed him. Detecting that Rocky possessed a uniquely powerful aura, the trafficker picked him up. Instead of treating Rocky’s wounds or feeding him, the man dragged him away and threw him into a heavily guarded prison.
Slavery, Power, and an Unexpected Ally
This new place was a lawless dark zone where human life carried no value. The captors forcefully drugged the prisoners, trying to hook them on a severe addiction so they would remain loyal slaves forever, desperate for their next fix.
Although Rocky's level had increased significantly during his time in the desert dimension, he wasn't strong enough yet to single-handedly take down the entire facility and its guards. Playing it smart, he chose to lie low and quietly build up his strength. He knew he couldn't save anyone else right now; the other prisoners were so deeply addicted that they literally could not survive without the drugs.
Under the cover of darkness, Rocky utilized the ancestral locket every night to rapidly grind and raise his level. During his imprisonment, he crossed paths with a new inmate who soon became his closest ally. His name was James, a warrior who possessed the magical element of Wind Power. But James was no ordinary prisoner—he was actually the runaway prince of the Jamila Kingdom!
How will Rocky and James break free from this high-tech prison? Will Rocky's level rise fast enough for him to conquer this new city? Find out in the next chapter...
