One second I was sitting on the couch enjoying the peace with Liam and glad that we weren’t fighting anymore and the next I was yanked up by my hair and thrown into the wall.
Maya came at me, hell bent on taking me out and not being able to read her mind really put me at a disadvantage because I always relied on my powers in a battle.
“What the hell?!” I yelled as she threw a punch at me, one that I barely dodged. I could have sworn that I was stronger than Maya, I was a vampire!
I threw a punch at her but she moved out of the way and landed a kick on my stomach. Her claws scratched my face and I could feel the blood coming out of my marks. Now I was pissed.
