Chapter 4: Not Scared Rebecca could not wait to go to college. Playing for the Jaguars was great, but there were still too many girls who didn’t take the team seriously. Some girls played only because their parents wanted them to, and others weren’t very talented but made the team because the spots weren’t competitive enough. Watching her cousin, though, she could tell that, in college, things operated at a different level. Rebecca’s cousin, Hannah Watkins, played short center for her college’s women’s softball team.
