Kirk called Tony just before suppertime to say he was running late. Tony knew that even a week ago he might have questioned why, wondering if Kirk had decided to pick some guy up for a quickie. He still felt a brief flare of jealousy, quickly shoving it away. At the same time, he vowed that tonight things were going to change. They’d been dancing around doing more than sharing the same bed. The only reason they hadn’t done more was because Kirk had insisted that Tony had to be fully healed, first. It was frustrating for both of them, but Tony knew there was a certain logic behind it.
