CHAPTER 1: HUMEX

"Get in position," Timeus commanded while staring at the monster on the widescreen. He continued with an icy tone."Don't let that monster escape."

The people who were listening on the other side were wearing a special black suit, a type of protective gear that could withstand the most corrosive element, and a special kind of gas mask. You could see from their body shape and te way they stand that they were either a part of the soldier or a veteran of war.

The leader of each group made a go signal toward their perspective team. Their group replied with surrounding the new type of humex which is at the center of the Quezon City Plaza.

The Humex has the green gooey feature, with a shape of a man that covers every part of its body, as the liquid drips down on the floor creating a sizzling sound, melting the ground where he was.

Above him was an ashen color of an airship that looked like a jet plane, waiting for the go signal of Timeus.

The green physique Humex was glancing around. It was as if the Humex was trying to convey something to them but was unable to. The humex agitatedly tried to move its body, but like a machine that was out of control, he suddenly attacked the soldiers who were surrounding him. The green liquid flew out from its body and scattered in the air.

When Timeus saw it, he gave a go signal to the airship, and they started to open the bunk, then a special type of transparent balloon fell out from the bunk and popped out a white liquid chemical toward the humex.

The moment it touched the green slimy humex, it began to shout in an excruciating sound, as if the humex was being tortured alive. It tried to rub away the white liquid that is on its body because every white liquid that touched his body was the same as being bitten by a million ants, and those part turned that had been smeared turned into a grey color and stiff, taking away its freedom to move it.

The green slimy humex realized that he had no way out so it tried to retaliate with all its strength. Planning to bring the city into ruins by self-destruction, but everything was all for naught because he couldn't even move, It could only watch its body to stone while suffering. A tear fell from its eyes to show how the humex was wronged.

Meanwhile, the soldiers shouted in celebration because this was the first time that no one dies at this operation. Some are hugging each other, while others were laughing in tears of joy.

All of them were actually ready to die the moment they receive the order to surround the disaster (humex), but who would have thought that no life needed to be sacrificed.

Timeus on the other hand felt proud, as he smirked at another success of capturing the humex.

This was the fifth humex that they had captured. Even so, the existing humex around the world, which was known and captured, was 25, including his, which made it 26.

Humex was a nickname given to the Human experiment.

30 years ago, the news about children being abducted, all at the same time in every corner of the world, had made a great disturbance in every police station, because they just disappeared from their homes, and even the NBI and the armies had no choice but to act on it. But even with joining the effort of the security and rescue team, no news was found.

The last one who attempted to find out what happened, was 25 years ago, and she was one of the best agent commanders, name Commander Alexa Fida Geronimo, but after a year, there was no contact nor any information from her. They made another attempt for the search and rescue operation, only to see some scattered bones that were rotten in the last place where they had lost communication with her, and discovered that one of them was from her body. The government made a lot of ways to uncover what happened, but still, there was no news nor any clue.

After that, they once again tried to find out what truly occurred, and the mastermind of the disappearance of the children. And after a long investigation, they found a lead that gave hope but were devastated as they went to the abandoned underground passage, and found it empty, which was already burned down a year after. There were also some dead bodies, bones, and failed experiments.

The government tried to silence the truth because they knew that it would only create a big commotion, but it was all for naught, the reason was that after 25 years, those children that were thought died, became a monster who were attacking people.

It shook the world, and many parents, especially those who had lost their children during that time, tried their best to protect those monsters, but it became a big joke because they had no heart to care, nor brain to understand. They only know how to kill innocent people.

It all started 18 years ago, the first humex was found in the Southern part of the sea. During that time, people thought it was apocalyptic, because the people who had been bitten by the piranha, either died or were hungry for human meat.

Those people who were still alive after being bitten, started to eat their fellow humans, as their facial features change, such as eyes turning into pure white and teeth being in jig jag, in which they used to bite people, but after being bitten by them, they didn't turn to be the same appearance, rather when they were bitten, they die, because the saliva of the affected people was very poisonous.

It was like a horror movie that came into reality. The affected people were chasing humans, and the water in the ocean was starting to be filled by the man-eating piranha.

The research institute made a way to find out the root of why the piranhas started to frenzy eating a living human being and chose to stay in the Southern sea. It created a great catastrophe worldwide, making a big question. "Why would piranha start to eat people?"

The research institute then decided to use a video recording, robotic-like diving apparatus and decided to bring it underwater. What they saw was very horrifying, a human-like creature with web hands and feet, scales like a piranha, and eyes like a dead fish. He had no hair but the skin on his head was the same as the fish in the sea, the piranha that surrounded him dranks his blood, and their features change, from 2 feet long to 3 feet.

He then looks at the camera as he smiled creepily and showed his white jig jag teeth. What made it scarier was that he had the ability to command those piranhas, as it destroyed the camera, which was observing them. The government then decided to act against the human fish.

Some animal welfare made rebellion against such, but no one listens to them, because between human life and animal life, the survival of the people was the most important.

In the end, after a few months of attempting to seize the monster, they captured it.

The human piranha was then given to the research institute. At first, they thought it was either a new type of animal or an alien but it was much more than that. The human piranha was one of the children reported 30 years ago. As they inspect him more and more, they had seen no.51 inside his skull.

The government then once more tried to conceal it by telling it was a new type of animal species, but the attack of humex was not just happening in the Southern part of the sea, but also in different countries.

Country I, Country Thy, Country N, Country P, Country R, Country Risi, and Country A. They couldn't hide the truth anymore, as the world discovered that those monsters were the kidn*pped children 30 years ago.

Some parents were worried, and some even wanted to protect those humex, but that was a stupid move because they kept on killing a lot of innocent people.

That's why organizations were made to put an end to these monsters. Both were government and private organizations, and Timeus was one of them.

Timeus owned a private military, which he got from his uncle and his father who had died 20 years ago.

And in those 20 years gave him a reason to kill those humex.
